Շիրակի մարզպետի որոշմամբ հայ-իտալական հարաբերությունների ամրապնդման և զարգացման, բարեկամական կապերի հաստատման, մշակութային համագործակցությանը նպաստելու, բարեխիղճ և արդյունավետ գործունեության համար Գյումրիում Իտալիայի Հանրապետության պատվո հյուպատոս Անտոնիո Մոնտալտոն պարգևատրվել է շնորհակալագրով։

Շիրակի մարզպետ Նազելի Բաղդասարյանն նոյեմբերի 11-ին հյուրընկալել է Հայաստանում Իտալիայի արտակարգ և լիազոր դեսպան Ալֆոնսո Դի Րիզոյի գլխավորած պատվիրակությանը։

Հանդիպման ընթացքում  Նազելի Բաղդասարյանն անդրադարձել է հայ-իտալական երկարամյա բարեկամության կարևորությանն ու Գյումրիում Իտալիայի հյուպատոսության հետ համագործակցված աշխատանքին: Շիրակի մարզպետը կարևորել է զբոսաշրջության, մշակութային և կրթական բնագավառներում համագործակցության խորացումը՝ ընդգծելով մարզում իտալերեն լեզվի ուսուցման հնարավորության հարցում դեսպանության հետ գործակցությունը։

Դեսպանը պատրաստակամություն է հայտնել համագործակցել և նշել, որ ուրախ է, երբ տեսնում է գործնական աշխատանք և նախաձեռնողականություն։

Մարզպետը նաև խոսել է տարիներ շարունակ Գյումրիում Իտալիայի Հանրապետության պատվո հյուպատոս Անտոնիո Մոնտալտոյի կատարած անձնվեր աշխատանքի ու Գյումրիի զարգացմանը նպաստող ծրագրերի մասին:

«Ուրախ եմ արձանագրելու, որ տարիներ շարունակ, ի դեմս պարոն Մոնտալտոյի, մենք Իտալիայի մի փոքր մաս ունենք Գյումրիում, հյուպատոսի հետ երկար տարիներ բարեկամական հարաբերություններ ունենք և նրան համարում ենք մեզանից մեկը, որովհետև նրա աշխատանքը եղել է համգործակցության կամուրջ»,-իր խոսքում նշեց մարզպետը:
