Հանրապետության նախագահ Վահագն Խաչատուրյանն ընդունել է Ուկրաինայից ժամանած հայ գործարարների: Հանդիպմանը ներկա է եղել նաև Ուկրաինայում Հայաստանի Հանրապետության արտակարգ և լիազոր դեսպան Վլադիմիր Կարապետյանը:

Ողջունելով հյուրերին նախագահ Խաչատուրյանը կարևորել է տարբեր երկրներում ապրող մեր հայրենակիցների այցերը հայրենիք՝ Հայաստանի և Սփյուռքի միջև սերտ զարգացման և առևտրա-տնտեսական տեսանկյուններից:

Իր խոսքում Հանրապետության նախագահը մասնավորապես ընդգծել է, որ ուկրաինահայ գործարարների այցելությունն առանձնահատուկ գնահատելի է՝ նկատի ունենալով նաև Ուկրաինայում տիրող իրավիճակը։ Նախագահը շեշտել է, որ նման ձևաչափի այցը նոր խթան կդառնա հայ-ուկրաինական գործարար կապերի և առևտրա-տնտեսական փոխգործակցության զարգացման համար և նշանակալի ազդեցություն կունենա նաև ուկրաինահայ համայնքի կյանքում։

Հանդիպման ընթացքում Հանրապետության նախագահն անդրադարձել է Հայաստանի տնտեսական իրողություններին, տնտեսության ոլորտում իրականացվող բարեփոխումներին, որոնք միտված են նաև գործարար դաշտի համար տնտեսական միջավայրն առավել գրավիչ դարձնելուն, նոր տեխնոլոգիաների ու թվայնացման համակարգերի ներդրմանը:

Ուկրաինահայ գործարարների հետ հանդիպման ընթացքում, անմիջական մթնոլորտում, նախագահ Խաչատուրյանն պատասխանել է հյուրերի հարցերին: Քննարկվել են Ուկրաինայի հայկական համայնքի հետ հարաբերություններն առավել սերտացնելուն և գործարար շփումների մակարդակը բարձրացնելուն ուղղված հարցեր:
