Հաջորդ շաբաթ՝ նոյեմբերի 30-ին, Բունդեսթագը կքվեարկի Գոլոդոմորը` որպես «ուկրաինացի ժողովրդի ցեղասպանություն» ճանաչելու վերաբերյալ։ Այս մասին գրում է Spiegel-ը՝ հղում անելով բանաձևի նախագծին։

Քվեարկության նախաձեռնողները Սոցիալ-դեմոկրատական ​​կուսակցության, Կանաչների, Ազատ դեմոկրատական ​​կուսակցության և Քրիստոնեա-դեմոկրատական ​​միության պատգամավորներն են:

«Ողջ Ուկրաինան, և ոչ միայն հացահատիկ արտադրող շրջանները, տուժեցին սովից և բռնաճնշումներից։ Այսօրվա տեսանկյունից ակնհայտ է պատմաքաղաքական դասակարգումը՝ որպես ցեղասպանություն։ Գերմանիայի Բունդեսթագը կիսում է այս դասակարգումը»,- ասվում է փաստաթղթի նախագծում։

1932-1933 թվականներին ԽՍՀՄ հացահատիկի հիմնական շրջանները սովի մեջ էին։ Երկրում պարենային ճգնաժամի հետևանքով՝ տարբեր գնահատականներով, տարբեր ազգությունների 7-8 միլիոն մարդ է մահացել։ Ուկրաինական ԽՍՀ-ում սովից մահացածների թվի մասին ստույգ տվյալներ չկան։ Ըստ ժամանակակից ժողովրդագիրների, 1933 թվականին Ուկրաինական ԽՍՀ-ի համար ավելորդ մահացության հավանական մակարդակը տատանվում էր 2,2 միլիոնից մինչև 3,9 միլիոն մարդ:

Ուկրաինայի իշխանությունները Գոլոդոմորը «ցեղասպանություն» են հայտարարել 2006 թվականին։ Մոսկվայում Կիևի գործողություններն անվանել են «պատմությունը քաղաքականացնելու ու ռուս և ուկրաինացի ժողովուրդներին կռվեցնելու փորձ»:
