Աշխատանքային այցով Ֆրանսիայում գտնվող Արցախի նախագահ Արայիկ Հարությունյանն այսօր Փարիզում շուրջ երկու տասնյակ ֆրանսիական առաջատար լրատվամիջոցների է ներկայացրել Ֆրանսիա կատարած այցի նպատակները, նշել Արցախի ժողովրդի նկատմամբ Ադրբեջանի կողմից պարբերաբար և հաճախակի դարձած ագրեսիվ վարքի դրսևորումները, հետևողական կերպով հումանիտար խնդիրների ստեղծումը, թվարկել այն սպառնալիքները, որոնք լրջագույն վտանգ են ներկայացնում սեփական հայրենիքում Արցախի ժողովրդի գոյության համար:

Նախագահ Հարությունյանի խոսքով՝ Ֆրանսիայի միջոցով ինքը ցանկանում է ուղերձ հղել եվրոպական բոլոր պետություններին, որ միջոցներ ձեռնարկեն կանխելու Ադրբեջանի սանձարձակ պահվածքը, որին սատարում է Թուրքիան:

«Մենք հասկանում ենք, որ Ադրբեջանի հետ Եվրոպան ունի նավթագազային շահեր, սակայն մեր հորդորն է՝ հարգել մեր ժողովրդի ինքնորոշման ու գոյության իրավունքները և առկա գործիքակազմերով թույլ չտալ Ադրբեջանի ցեղասպանական ու ծավալապաշտական քաղաքականության իրականացումը: Այս իմաստով տեղին է նշել նաև վերջին երկու տարիների ընթացքում ոչ միայն Արցախի, այլև Հայաստանի Հանրապետության նկատմամբ կատարած հարձակումներն ու ՀՀ սուվերեն տարածքների բռնազավթումները»,- ասել է Արայիկ Հարությունյանը:

Հանդիպման ընթացքում նախագահը պատասխանել է լրագրողների տարաբնույթ հարցերին, ինչպես նաև առանձին հարցազրույց է տվել «Ֆրանսպրես» պետական լրատվական գործակալությանը և հյուրընկալվել France-24 հեռուստաալիքին:
