2021թ. հոկտեմբերի 21-ին ոստիկանության Քանաքեռ-Զեյթունի բաժնում մի կին հաղորդում էր տվել, որ որպես բժիշկ Տիգրան Հարությունյան ներկայացած անձը բժշկական սարքավորումներ գնելու նպատակով իրենից խաբեությամբ վերցրել է մոտ 5000 դոլար և 20 գրամ քաշով ոսկյա ժամացույց: Իսկ որպես Տիգրանի քույր ներկայացած ոմն Մագա մաս-մաս ստացել է այդ գումարը և փոխանցել նրան:

Ոստիկանության Քանաքեռ-Զեյթունի բաժնի քրեական հետախույզները, իրացնելով օպերատիվ տվյալները, պարզեցին, որ Տիգրան Հարությունյան ներկայացած անձը այլ անուն-ազգանունով 48-ամյա տղամարդ է, որը ներկայումս պատիժ է կրում քրեակատարողական հիմնարկներից մեկում: Իսկ Մագա ներկայացած կինը Երևանի 44-ամյա բնակչուհի է՝ դարձյալ այլ անուն-ազգանունով:

Պարզվեց, որ քրեակատարողական հիմնարկից խարդախությունը կազմակերպել էր 48-ամյա տղամարդը: Նա պարտավորվել էր տուժող կնոջը վաճառել բժշկական սարքավորումներ, իսկ Մագա ներկայացած կնոջն էլ ասել էր, որ իր բնակարանը վաճառել է տուժող կնոջը և պետք է նրանից գումար ստանա:

Հունվարի 10-ին քրեական հետախույզները ձերբակալեցին ու բաժին տեղափոխեցին Մագա ներկայացած կնոջը: Բաժնում 44-ամյա կինը հայտնեց, որ գումարը և ոսկյա ժամացույցը ինքն է վերցրել տուժողից և փոխանցել 48-ամյա տղամարդու մատնանշած անձին:
