2022 թվականի ամռանը Ավստրիայի Տիրոլ շրջանի Ինսբրուկ քաղաքի փոքրիկ բնակիչը խաղալիս փորձել է շոյել հարևանի կատվին՝ Սիմբային, սակայն վերջինս կծել է աղջնակին։ Կծած տեղը բորբոքվել է, երեխայի ծնողները դատի են տվել կատվի տիրոջը, իսկ հետո իրավիճակն ավելի է սրվել, հայտնում է Augsburger Allgemeine հրատարակությունը:։

Նշվում է, որ հանցագործության մեջ կասկածվող կատուն ինքն էր բաց դռնից մտել տուժածի տուն։ Աղջկա մայրը կենդանուն փակել է լոգարանում ու կանչել անասնաբույժներին։

Սիմբային չորս շաբաթով ուղարկել են կենդանիների ապաստարան՝ թույլ տալով նրան վերադարձնել տիրոջը՝ «տնային կալանքի» պայմանով։ Դատախազությունը մի ամբողջ հետաքննություն է սկսել, ևս չորս տուժող նույն կատվին մեղադրել են «մարմնական վնասվածք» պատճառելու մեջ։ Ավստրիայի ոստիկանությունը պաշտոնական հայտարարություն է տարածել.«Ընտանի կենդանիներին պետք է պահել այնպես, որ ոչ մեկին վտանգ չսպառնա»։
