Հայաստանը չի հրաժարվել Հավաքական անվտանգության պայմանագրի կազմակերպության (ՀԱՊԿ) առաքելությունն Ադրբեջանի հետ սահմանին տեղակայելուց։ Այս մասին ՏԱՍՍ-ի թղթակցի հետ զրույցում ասել է Ռուսաստանում Հայաստանի դեսպան, պաշտպանության նախկին նախարար Վաղարշակ Հարությունյանը։

«Գիտեք, որ միջպետական հարաբերություններում կարող են լինել ինչ-որ հարցեր, որոնք քննարկվում են և որոնց լուծումներ են գտնում։ Ինչ վերաբերում է ՀԱՊԿ դիտորդներին, ապա ՀԱՊԿ դիտորդներից ոչ ոք չի հրաժարվել։ Փաստաթուղթը, որը պետք է ստորագրվեր Երևանում ՀԱՊԿ գլխավոր քարտուղարի և միացյալ շտաբի պետի՝ տարածաշրջան կատարած այցի արդյունքում, չստորագրվեց այն պատճառով, որ հայկական կողմը ցանկանում էր լրամշակել փաստաթուղթը։ Ահա այդ փաստաթուղթը լրամշակման փուլում է»,- նշել է նա։

Հարությունյանը նաև հերքել է որոշ հայ քաղաքագետների և ընդդիմադիր գործիչների հայտարարությունները, թե վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի կառավարությունը նախապատրաստում է ՀԱՊԿ-ից երկրի դուրս գալը։

«Նման մոտեցումները կամ կարծիքները չեն համապատասխանում իրականությանը այն առումով, որ պետությունների միջև հարաբերությունները որոշվում են ստորագրված պայմանագրերով, և այս պայմանագրերը, որոնք ստորագրվել են դեռ 90-ականներին, հիմա էլ շարունակում են գործել: Դուք շատ լավ գիտեք, որ մեր երկրների առաջնորդների միջև տասնյակ հանդիպումներ և հեռախոսազրույցներ են եղել։ Մեր վարչապետը [Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը] նշել է, որ ՀԱՊԿ-ից դուրս գալու մասին խոսք լինել չի կարող, ուստի դա ճիշտ չէ, ընդհակառակը, մենք խորացնում ենք մեր հարաբերությունները և այս անկայուն ժամանակահատվածում մեր հարաբերությունները խորանում են և խորանալու են։<...> Եվս մեկ անգամ ցանկանում եմ կրկնել, որ Հայաստանը ԵԱՏՄ անդամ է, ՀԱՊԿ անդամ է, ԱՊՀ անդամ է և տարածաշրջանային բոլոր այլ կազմակերպությունների անդամ, որտեղ ներկա է նաև Ռուսաստանը»,- հավելել է նա։
