Հայաստան-Իրաք բարեկամական խմբի ղեկավար Ռուստամ Բաքոյանը փետրվարի 2-ին ընդունել է ՀՀ-ում Իրաքի Հանրապետության դեսպանության գործերի ժամանակավոր հավատարմատար Սուհայլան Մուզեր Խալիլ Ալ-Ջուբուրիին:

ԱԺ-ից հայտնում են, որ հանդիպման օրակարգում եղել են հայ-իրաքյան հարաբերությունների, դրանց զարգացման ու ամրապնդման համար ակտիվ աշխատանքի, փոխգործակցության ակտիվացման հարցերը:

Ռուստամ Բաքոյանն արձանագրել է երկրների միջեւ հարաբերությունների զարգացման դինամիկան, որը տարիների աշխատանքի արդյունք է, նախանշել այն տեսլականը, որ Հայաստանի եւ Իրաքի միջեւ գոյություն ունեցող ու տարեցտարի ամրապնդվող համագործակցությունն առաջիկայում եւս կլինի ավելի հստակ ու նպատակային` առկա հարաբերություններին նոր որակ ու արդյունավետություն հաղորդելու առումով: Արձանագրվել է, որ երկուստեք համագործակցությունը կնպաստի նաեւ երկու երկրների հարաբերությունների, համատեղ ու միասնական աշխատանքի էլ ավելի զարգացմանն ու ամրապնդմանը, ինչն էլ իր հերթին կմարմնավորի ամուր հոգեգիտակցական կապ եւ կայուն երկխոսություն, որն այսօր ծավալման ընթացքում է:

Գնահատելով Մերձավոր Արեւելքի ռազմավարական կարեւոր նշանակությունը Հայաստանի համար` Ռուստամ Բաքոյանը նշել է, որ Իրաքն առանձնահատուկ տեղ է գրավում Հայաստանի Հանրապետության արտաքին քաղաքականության համատեքստում. Հայաստանը մշտապես հետաքրքրված է մերձավորարեւելյան տարածաշրջանի աշխարհաքաղաքական զարգացումներով ու իրողություններով, այդուհանդերձ կողմնակից է Իրաքում խաղաղության հաստատմանը: Իսկ հայ-իրաքյան քաղաքական երկխոսության զարգացումը ՀՀ արտաքին քաղաքականության կարեւոր առաջնահերթություններից մեկն է: Այս համատեքստում իր անուրանալի ավանդն ունի նաեւ Իրաքի հայկական համայնքը, որը ոչ միայն կապող օղակ է երկու պետությունների հարաբերություններում, այլեւ լուրջ դերակատարում ունի հարաբերությունների սերտացմանն ուղղված աշխատանքներում:

Շնորհակալություն հայտնելով ընդունելության համար` Ալ-Ջուբուրին կարեւորել է այսօրինակ հանդիպումների եւ քննարկումների կազմակերպումը` միտված երկկողմ հետաքրքրություն ներկայացնող հարցերի եւ համատեղ օրակարգի ձեւակերպմանն ու սահմանմանը` առավել արդյունավետ աշխատանքի, համագործակցության խթանման համար: Այս առումով առաջիկա քայլերից է լինելու համատեղ օրակարգով ու աշխատանքով մարտ ամսին Իրաքի Հանրապետության խորհրդարանի Իրաք-Հայաստան խորհրդարանական բարեկամության խմբի պաշտոնական այցի կազմակերպումը, որը կլինի խորհրդարանական մակարդակում երկու երկրների հարաբերությունների ամրապնդման հերթական հավաստումն ու խթան կհաղորդի դրանց շարունակականությանը:

Նշվել է, որ նաեւ նկատելի է ակտիվացում երկրների տնտեսական հարաբերություններում, սակայն կա չիրացված ներուժ, որը պետք է իրականություն դառնա նոր պայմանավորվածությունների, երկու կողմերի նախաձեռնողականության արդյունքում:

Հանդիպումը եզրափակվել է կողմերի` անձնական աջակցության ու պատրաստակամության հավաստմամբ` երկու երկրների միջեւ բազմաբնույթ ու բազմոլորտ կապերի ու հարաբերությունների զարգացման եւ խորացման ուղղությամբ` նմանօրինակ հանդիպումների, այցերի եւ այլ հնարավոր միջոցներով:

Կողմերը համոզմունք են հայտնել, որ առկա է չիրացված ներուժ, եւ կա հնարավորություն` միասնական աշխատանքի եւ փոխգործակցության միջոցով նոր հաջողություններ գրանցել երկու պետությունների` այսօր ծավալում ստացած երկկողմ հարաբերությունների համատեքստում:
