Քաղաքական գիտությունների դոկտոր, պատմաբան Արմեն Այվազյանը Ֆեյսբուքի իր էջում գրել է.

«Հայաստանում քաղաքական-հասարակական դաշտը բաժան-բաժան է արված ու դրված հիմնականում երկու օտար ուժային կենտրոնների ազդեցության տակ՝ Արևմուտքի և Ռուսաստանի։ Այդ ուժային կենտրոնները երբեմն միմյանց հետ համագործակցում են՝ մեր հաշվին, երբեմն էլ չեն համագործակցում՝ էլի՛ մեր հաշվին։ Բայց հայկական ԶԼՄ-ների, խորհրդարանական ու արտախորհրդարանական քաղաքական կուսակցությունների, նրանց հարող կամ կցորդ բազմաբնույթ խմբերի ու խմբակների համար այդ ամենը կարևոր չէ. նրանք մնում են այդ կենտրոնների ազդեցության տակ՝ երբեմն փոխելով ընդամենը տիրոջը, բայց ինքնուրույն գործելուց խորշելով։ Նրանց համար կարևորը տեր ունենալն է։

Այս քաղաքական հոսանքների խամաճիկ առաջնորդներն ու նրանց մանկլավիկները, ինչպես այլ առիթներով էլ ընդգծել եմ, ընդունակ չեն ոչ միայն ինքնուրույնաբար (առանց «կենտրոնի» ցուցումի կամ թույլտվության) գործելու, այլև ինքնուրույն մտածելու։ Օտար շահերը սպասարկելով են ձեռք գցել իրենց կարիերային, ունեցվածքին ու սոցիալական դիրքին՝ հընթացս, բնականաբար, վերածվելով երդվյալ ծառայամիտների՝ իրենց գաղափարախոսությամբ, հոգեկերտվածքով ու կենսակերպով։ Ու հոգ չէ, որ իրավիճակն օրհասական է։ Հոգ չէ, որ այսօր վճռվում է Հայաստանի լինել-չլինելու հարցը՝ Արցախը կարող ենք շատ արագ կորցնել։ Ծառայամիտները չեն գործելու, որովհետև չեն կարող փոխվել։

Այս վերնախավային կաթվածահարության վառ օրինակներից մեկն այն է, որ ինչպիսի սխալ ու հանցավոր քաղաքականություն էլ վարեն իրենց տերերը Հայաստանի (ներառյալ Արցախի) հանդեպ՝ նրանք անպայման մի հիմար արհեստական պատրվակ են բռնելու, թե «տեսեք-տեսեք՝ մեղավորը մեր տերը չէր, այլ այսինչն ու այնինչն էր»։ 

Լավրովին ու ՌԴ ԱԳՆ-ին ես քննադատում ադրբեջանամետ-թուրքամետ քաղաքականության ու հայտարարությունների համար, ասում են՝ չէ՛, չէ՛, մեղավորը Արևմուտքն է ու Նիկոլը։ 

ԱՄՆ-ին ու Արևմուտքին ես քննադատում՝ ֆաշիստական Թուրքիայի և Ադրբեջանի դեմ 30 տարի շարունակ որևէ ճնշում չբանեցնելու (իբրև հետևանք՝ նրանց հայատյաց ռասիզմն ու ցեղասպանական քաղաքականությունը խրախուսելու) համար, ասում են՝ չէ՛, չէ՛, բա ռուսներին մոռացար, ռուսներն են մեղավոր։

Նիկոլին ես քննադատում պարտվողական ու դավաճանական քաղաքականության համար, ասում են՝ բա՛ հնե՜րը, հնե՜րը, մեղավորը հներն են։ 
Հներին ես քննադատում Հայաստանը ծայրաստիճան թուլացնելու, բնակչության գրեթե կեսին երկրից արտամղելու համար, ասում են՝ չէ՜, չէ՜, հզոր պետություն, հզոր դիվանագիտություն ու հզոր բանակ ունեինք, այդ Նիկոլն էր՝ եկավ և ամեն ինչ փչացրեց։

Վասալների ուղեղում չի տեղավորվում, որ վերը նշված բոլորն էլ մեղավոր են՝ Արևմու՛տքն էլ, Ռուսաստա՛նն էլ, հնե՛րն էլ, Նիկո՛լն էլ, նրա բերած նորե՛րն էլ։ Վասալներից ավելին չես էլ կարող պահանջել։ Ցավն այն է, որ քաղաքական-հասարակական դաշտը գլխավորում են գերազանցապես մտավոր ու գործնական վասալները, որոնք ձևավորել են վերջին տասնամյակների ՀԱՅԿԱԿԱՆ ՎԱՍԱԼԻՏԵՏԸ՝ օտարներից կախվածությունների պետական ու քաղաքական արմատակալած համակարգը։

Այնինչ այսօրվա ճգնաժամային, օրհասական իրավիճակում Հայաստանին անհրաժեշտ են ՀԱՅԿԱԿԱՆ ՇԱՀԵՐԻՑ բխող՝ աշխարհաքաղաքական ու ռազմաքաղաքական խորագիտակ մտքի ու մտածողության տեր, ինքնուրույն գործողությունների դիմելու պատրաստ պետական գործիչներ։ Այդպիսի առաջնորդները միայն կարող են կործանվող ՀԱՅԿԱԿԱՆ ՎԱՍԱԼԻՏԵՏՆ ընթացքից վերափոխել ՀԱՅԿԱԿԱՆ ԱԶԳԱՅԻՆ ՊԵՏՈՒԹՅԱՆ։
