Հայաստանում քրդական համայնքի ներկայացուցիչները բողոքի ակցիա են անցկացրել ՄԱԿ-ի հայաստանյան գրասենյակի դիմաց` միջազգային հանրությունից պահանջելով ճնշում գործադրել Թուրքիայի վրա, որպեսզի թուրքական իշխանությունները ազատ արձակեն Քուրդիստանի աշխատավորական կուսակցության համահիմնադիր, քաղբանտարկյալ Աբդուլլահ Օջալանին և օգնություն ցուցաբերեն ավերիչ երկրաշարժից տուժած քրդերին։ Ցուցարարները ՄԱԿ-ի հայաստանյան գրասենյակին փոխանցեցին նամակ, որում ներկայացված են իրենց պահանջները միջազգային հանրությանը:

«Քաղաքացիական պայմանագիր» խմբակցության քուրդ պատգամավոր Կնյազ Հասանովը նշեց, որ Թուրքիայի և Սիրիայի քրդաբնակ գրեթե բոլոր բնակավայրերը տուժել են ավերիչ երկրաշարժից՝ տասնյակ հազարավոր մարդիկ են զոհվել, վիրավորվել և բազմաթիվ մարդիկ մնացել են անօթևան։

«Երկրաշարժի հետևանքով զոհերի և վիրավորների շուրջ 90 տոկոսը քրդեր են։ Եկել ենք զորակցություն հայտնելու երկրաշարժից տուժած քուրդ ժողովրդին և հարգել զոհերի հիշատակը և ասել, որ թուրքական իշխանությունները դիտմամբ անուշադրության են մատնել քուրդ ժողովրդին, չեն շտապում օգնել և դուրս բերել մարդկանց փլատակներից և չեն վերացնում երկրաշարժի հետևանքները։ Մենք դատապարտում ենք թուրքական իշխանությունների անգործությունը։ Այս ֆոնին նաև խնդրում ենք միջազգային հանրությունից, որպեսզի օգտագործեն իրենց հնարավորությունները և ազատեն մեր առաջնորդ Աբդուլլահ Օջալանին»,- ասաց Հասանովը։

«Քուրդիստան» կոմիտեի համանախագահ Սլո Դրբոյանի խոսքով՝ Թուրքիայի կառավարությունը միայն լրատվամիջոցների տեսախցիկների դեմ է ներկայացնում, թե ամեն ինչ անում է երկրաշարժի հետևանքները վերացնելու համար, բայց իրականում ոչինչ չի անում։

«Իրականում մի քանի փրկարարական խմբեր են ուղարկում, թե, իբր, օգնում են, բայց ժողովուրդն է օգնություն ցուցաբերում։ Այստեղ ևս թուրքական իշխանությունները խոչընդոտում են քրդերին, ասում են՝ եթե մարդասիրական օգնություն եք ուզում տրամադրել, փոխանցեք մեզ, իսկ մենք արդեն կորոշենք, թե որտեղ այդ օգնությունն ուղարկել, բայց իրականում որևէ մեկին չեն օգնում։ Թուրքիայի իշխանության օգնությունը մենք չենք տեսնում»,- ընդգծեց Սլո Դրբոյանը։

Աբդուլլահ Օջալանը եղել է քրդական ազատագրական շարժման ղեկավար։ Հանդիսանում է նաև Քրդական բանվորական կուսակցության նախագահը, այժմ դատապարտված է ցմահ ազատազրկման թուրքական Էմրալի կղզում։
