Ղազախստանը մտադիր է զարգացնել ռազմավարական համագործակցությունն ԱՄՆ-ի և Արևմուտքի հետ, ասել է երկրի նախագահ Կասիմ-Ժոմարտ Տոկաևը Աստանա այցելած պետքարտուղար Էնթոնի Բլինքենի հետ հանդիպման ժամանակ։

«Մենք պատրաստ ենք հետագայում էլ զարգացնել այդ համագործակցությունը», - ասել է Տոկաևը՝ հավելելով, որ երախտապարտ է ամերիկյան իշխանություններին «անկախությանը, տարածքային ամբողջականությանը և ինքնիշխանությանը աջակցելու համար»։ Տոկաևի խոսքով՝ Ղազախստանը նշում է գործընկերության «հուսալիությունը» և երկարաժամկետ բնույթը՝ անվտանգության, էներգետիկայի, առևտրի և ներդրումների ոլորտներում։

ԱՄՆ-ն, իր հերթին, մտադիր է ներդրումներ կատարել Ղազախստանում օգտակար հանածոների որոնման համար։ Հանրապետության արդյունաբերության և ենթակառուցվածքների զարգացման նախարարության մամուլի ծառայությունից հայտնում են, որ համապատասխան հուշագիրը ստորագրել են արդյունաբերության նախարարության երկրաբանական կոմիտեի նախագահ Երլան Աքբարովը և ԱՄՆ դեսպան Դենիել Ռոզենբլյումը։

Բացի Տոկաևից, Բլինքենը Աստանայում հանդիպել է Կենտրոնական Ասիայի այլ երկրների՝ Ղրղզստանի, Տաջիկստանի, Թուրքմենստանի և Ուզբեկստանի ղեկավարների հետ, նախատեսվում է նաև առանձին այց Տաշքենդ։ Ջո Բայդենի վարչակազմի նպատակն է ամրապնդել իր ազդեցությունը տարածաշրջանում և համոզել նախկին խորհրդային հանրապետություններին չօգնել Կրեմլին շրջանցել պատժամիջոցները, The Wall Street Journal-ին ասել են հարցին ծանոթ պաշտոնյաները:
