Նույնիսկ Շոլցի ինքնորոշման իրավունք ասելուց հետո Նիկոլն այն չարտաբերեց։ Այս մասին տելեգրամի իր ալիքում գրել է Էդուարդ Շարմազանովը։

«Ծանոթացա Նիկոլի ելույթին «Անվտանգությունը և կայունությունը Հարավային Կովկասում. Հայաստանի հեռանկարը» թեմայով քննարկմանը։ Այն ոտքից գլուխ թրքահպատակ էր ու չէր ներառում Հայաստանի ու Արցախի պետական շահերը։

Նախ, խոսելով Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի մասին, Փաշինյանն օգտագործում է ոչ թե Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի կոնֆլիկտ, այլ Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հարց ձեւակերպումը։

Սա առաջին անգամը չէ, երբ Նիկոլն անգլիալեզու լսարանում խուսափում է «conflict» ձեւակերպումից եւ կիրառում է «issue» բառը։ Սա դարձել է տխուր օրինաչափություն ու դրանով Նիկոլը համաձայնվում է Ալիեւի այն մտքին, որ Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի կոնֆլիկտ գոյություն չունի, այլ կա ընդամենը հարց կամ խնդիր։

Բայց դրա փոխարեն Նիկոլը հնազանդորեն կատարում է Թուրքիայի պահանջը ու այդ երկրի մասին խոսելուց արտասանում է «թյուրքիյե», այլ ոչ նախկինում օգտագործվող «թըրքի»՝ հերթական անգամ ի ցույց դնելով Էրդողանին դուր գալու պատրաստակամությունը։

Հաջորդը. նույնիսկ Գերմանիայի կանցլեր Շոլցի կողմից ինքնորոշման իրավունք եզրույթն օգտագործելուց հետո Նիկոլը չի խոսում ինքնորոշումից։

Նա վախենոմ ու խուսափում է խոսել Արցախի ինքնորոշման իրավունքից ու փոխարենը հերթական անգամ արտաբերում է միայն Արցախի հայերի իրավունքների մասին:

Ստամբուլի ու Երուսաղեմի հայերն էլ իրավուքներ ունեն, բայց դա ինքնորոշման իրավունք չէ։

Եվ ամենակարևորը։

Փաշինյանն ասում է, որ Հայաստանը համաձայնել է տարանջատել ԼՂ հիմնախնդրի կարգավորումը հայ-ադրբեջանական գործընթացից։ Սա ադրբեջանական պահանջի բավարարում է ու ադրբեջանական թեզ է։ Դա խոստովանել է հենց Նիկոլի ԱԳՆ-ն։ Այս թեզն Արցախից ձեռքերը լվալու, Արցախյան շարժմանը դավաճանելու ու Եռաբլուրն ուրանալու թեզ է։

Իսկ Նիկոլի խոսքերը «հայկական ժողովրդավարության» մասին ուղղակի ծիծաղելի են։

1. Նիկոլն ու դեմոկրատիան այնքան կապ ունեն իրար հետ որքան ֆաշիզմն ու մարդասիրությունը։

2. Կարիք չկա ԵՄ անդամ երկրում «ծախել» սեփակամ ժողովրդավար լինելը,քանի որ նույն ԵՄ-ն սուլթան Ալիեւին համարում է «վստահելի գործընկեր» ,իսկ Արեւմուտքի նավերն էլ Հայկական լեռներ չեն բարձրանալու։

Հերիք է Արեւմուտքին դուր գալու էժան քայլերի դիմել, օգտվելով ՌԴ-ի խառը վիճակից։ Դա չի բխում ՀՀ շահերից, չնայած Նիկոլը ի՞նչ կապ ունի ՀՀ-ի ու Արցախի շահերի հետ։ Նա խելոք սպասարկում է Թուրքիայի ու ՆԱՏՕ-ի շահերը՝ ի վնաս հայկականի»։
