Այսօր տեղի է ունեցել «Հայրենիք» կուսակցության խորհրդի նիստը։ Նիստի մեկնարկին կուսակցության նախագահ Արթուր Վանեցյանը նշել է, որ Հայաստանի ներսում և սահմաններից դուրս ծավալվում են ակտիվ քաղաքական գործընթացներ, որոնք այս կամ այն կերպ առնչվում են Հայաստանի, Արցախի, հայ ժողովրդի և նրա առանձին հատվածների անվտանգությանը, բարեկեցությանն ու զարգացման հեռանկարներին, ուստի հարցերի այս շրջանակի նկատմամբ «Հայրենիք» կուսակցությունը չի կարող անտարբեր մնալ։

Անդրադառնալով Արցախի շուրջ ընթացող գործընթացներին՝ Արթուր Վանեցյանը նշել է, որ Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի միջև տևական խաղաղությունը հնարավոր է միայն բոլոր խնդիրներին հավասարակշռված և արդարացի լուծում տալու պարագայում, հետևաբար Հայաստանի Հանրապետության և Ադրբեջանի միջև համաձայնություն ունենալու ցանկացած փորձ, որը կանտեսի Արցախի հիմնախնդիրն ու արցախահայության կենսական շահերը՝ այդ թվում ինքնորոշման իրավունքը, դատապարտված է ձախողման և չի կարող երաշխավորել հարատև խաղաղություն։

Խոսելով Երևանի քաղաքապետի հրաժարականի մասին՝ Արթուր Վանեցյանը նշել է, որ այդ փաստը ենթադրել է տալիս, որ օրվա իշխանությունը փորձելու է պատեհ պահն օգտագործել և արտահերթ ընտրությունների միջոցով վերարտադրվելու ևս մեկ փորձ կատարել՝ աշխարհին և մեր հանրությանը համոզելու՝ իբրև  թե ինքը վայելում է Հայաստանի հանրության վստահությունն ու գործում է նրանց անունից։ Արթուր Վանեցյանը համոզմունք է հայտնել, որ իրականում իշխանությունը չունի հանրային վստահություն։

«Հայրենիք» կուսակցության խորհուրդը վերահաստատել է իր դիրքորոշումը՝ ակտիվորեն ներգրավվել առաջիկայում սպասվող ընտրական գործընթացներին և որոշել է այդ նպատակով նախաձեռնել խորհրդակցությունների շարք՝ մասնակցության վերջնական ձևաչափը հստակեցնելու համար։  

Խորհրդի նիստում, ի թիվս այլ հարցերի, անդրադարձ է կատարվել նաև կուսակցաշինական աշխատանքներին, առաջիկա անելիքներին, հանրության հետ շփումներին, ինչպես նաև կուսակցության երիտասարդական թևի ակտիվացմանը և առաջիկայում մեկնարկելիք «Անվտանգության ակադեմիա» ոչ ֆորմալ կրթական ծրագրին։
