ԱՄՆ պետքարտուղար Էնթոնի Բլինքենը հեռախոսազրույց է ունեցել Ադրբեջանի նախագահ Իլհամ Ալիեւի հետ։ Հեռախոսազրույցի ընթացքում քննարկվել է Լաչինի միջանցքի շուրջ ստեղծված իրավիճակը, հայտնում է Ադրբեջանի նախագահի մամուլի ծառայությունը։

Հաղորդվում է, որ Ալիևը նորից հերքել է այն փաստը, որ Լաչինի միջանցքն արգելափակված է, ինչպես նաև անհեթեթ մեղադրանքներ է հնչեցրել հայկական կողմի հասցեին՝ կրկին հայտարարելով «Հայաստանի հետ սահմանին՝ Լաչինի միջանցքում, անցակետ ստեղծելու» մասին։

Ալիևը շարունակել է իր ստերի շարքը՝ պնդելով, թե իբր «Հայաստանի զինված ուժերի մոտ 10000 զինծառայող դեռևս գտնվում է ԼՂ տարածքում»։

«Իլհամ Ալիևն ասել է, որ վերջին շաբաթներին հայկական կողմը չարաշահում է այս երկրում Եվրամիության առաքելության տեղակայումը և վարում է իրավիճակի միտումնավոր սրմանն ուղղված քաղաքականություն։

Նախագահ Իլհամ Ալիևն ընդգծել է, որ Ադրբեջանը լիովին հավատարիմ է խաղաղության օրակարգին, պատրաստ է մոտ ապագայում կարգավորել հարաբերությունները Հայաստանի հետ և ստորագրել խաղաղության պայմանագիր, և հայկական կողմին ներկայացրել է խաղաղության պայմանագրի տեքստը՝ վերջին առաջարկություններով և փոփոխություններով»,- ասված է ադրբեջանական կողմի տարածած հաղորդագրությունում։

Պետքարտուղար Էնթոնի Բլինքենը կրկնել է, որ ԱՄՆ-ն կշարունակի ջանքերը Ադրբեջանի և Հայաստանի միջև հարաբերությունների կարգավորման և խաղաղության պայմանագիր ստորագրելու ուղղությամբ։
