Էստոնիան իր սպառազինությունը թարմացնում է ԵՄ-ի իր հարևանների հաշվին, իսկ հին զինատեսակներն ուղարկում է Ուկրաինա։ Այս մասին գրում է Politico-ն։ ԵՄ մի քանի դիվանագետներ և պաշտոնյաներ անանուն քննադատել են Էստոնիայի ծրագիրը՝ արդիականացնել իր զենքերը Խաղաղության եվրոպական հիմնադրամի հետ:

«Նրանք իրենց աղբն ուղարկում են Ուկրաինա, փոխարենը նոր զենքեր են գնում Եվրամիության փողերով»,- ասել է դիվանագետներից մեկը։

Ըստ ԵՄ մեկ այլ դիվանագետի՝ Էստոնիան իրեն չափազանց ամբարտավան է պահում, սակայն ոչ ոք չի ցանկանում հրապարակավ ուշադրություն հրավիրել սրա վրա։

Politico-ի աղբյուրը բացատրել է, որ Էստոնիան Ուկրաինա է ուղարկում, օրինակ, Strela շարժական հակաօդային պաշտպանության համակարգեր, բայց փոխարենը ցանկանում է ժամանակակից Stinger հրթիռներ:

Եվրամիությունը համաձայնել է, որ ուղարկված զինտեխնիկայի արժեքի 84%-ը կփոխհատուցի, սակայն յուրաքանչյուր երկիր հաշվարկում է արժեքը՝ ելնելով իր մեթոդաբանությունից։ Ուկրաինային ուղղված ռազմական օգնությունը փոխհատուցվում է Խաղաղության եվրոպական հիմնադրամի կողմից, որին անդամ երկրները ներդրում են կատարել իրենց տնտեսությունների չափին համամասնորեն:

Ըստ ԵՄ արտաքին ծառայության՝ վեց երկրներն իրենց ուղարկած ռազմական օգնությունը հաշվարկել են՝ ելնելով նոր ռազմական տեխնիկայի, այլ ոչ թե բուն տեխնիկայի արժեքից: Օրինակ՝ նոր զինտեխնիկայի արժեքի 100%-ը հաշվարկում է Ֆինլանդիան, 99%-ը՝ Լատվիան, 93%-ը՝ Լիտվան, 91%-ը՝ Էստոնիան, 71%-ը՝ Ֆրանսիան, 26%-ը՝ Շվեդիան։ Ընդ որում, Էստոնիան ստացել է բացարձակ մեծությամբ ամենամեծ փոխհատուցումը` պահանջելով ավելի քան 160 մլն եվրո:
