ՀՀ դատավորների միության նախագահ Ալեքսանդր Ազարյանը գրում է. «Այսօր՝ ապրիլի 24-ին, Հայոց ցեղասպանության զոհերի հիշատակը խնկարկելու օրն է:

Մարդկության ու քաղաքակրթության դեմ գործած այդ ծանրագույն հանցագործությունն իրականացնողները պատասխանատվության չեն կանչվել, դրա հետևանքները մինչև օրս չեն վերացվել, ընդհակառակը` նույնիսկ 108 տարի անց, Թուրքիան պաշտոնապես շարունակում է իր նախնիների սերմանած ժխտողական ցեղասպան քաղաքականությունը՝ անարգելով անմեղ զոհերի հիշատակը, դրա կապակցությամբ նրանց ժառանգների մոտ առկա հիշողությունը:

Թուրքիայի հետ հնարավոր բարիդրացիական հարաբերություններ հաստատելը չի կարող կառուցվել 1915 թվականի ցեղասպանության և հետագա ջարդերի իրողությունը մոռացության մատնելու հենքի վրա, և այդ ուղին ընտրող ցանկացած իշխանություն դատապարտված է անհաջողության:

Այդ անհեռանկար քաղաքականությունը կործանարար է և բովանդակում է հայ ժողովրդին նոր ցեղասպանության ենթարկելու ռիսկեր:

Ի հեճուկս բոլոր դժվարությունների, Հայաստանի և Արցախի բնակչության առջև ծառացած գոյաբանական վտանգների՝ աշխարհասփյուռ հայությունն այսօր խոնարհվում է Հայոց ցեղասպանության անմեղ նահատակների հիշատակի առջև՝ այն գիտակցմամբ, որ հայը ապրել, ապրում և ապրելու է իր պատմական բնօրրանում՝ Հայոց և Արցախ աշխարհում, իսկ հնարավոր նոր ցեղասպանությունները կանխելու գործուն միջոցը ոչ միայն 1915 թվականի Մեծ եղեռնի միջազգայնորեն ճանաչումն է, այլ նաև՝ ազգային արմատներին և գաղափարախոսությանը հավատարիմ գիտակից հասարակության, հզոր բանակի և ամուր պետության ձևավորումը»:
