Ասուլիսից հետո իրավիճակը շատ պարզ է. հիմա, այս ամենը լսելուց հետո, լռելը, ձայն չհանելը, կյանքը հանգիստ շարունակելը՝ իբր ոչինչ չի պատահել, անհատական և կոլեկտիվ մակարդակներով, նշանակում է՝ ստորագրել Նիկոլի արած հայտարարությունների տակ: Այդ մասին իր հոդվածում գրում է Այլընտրանքային նախագծեր խմբի համահիմնադիր Վահե Հովհաննիսյանը։

«Հայտարարությունների, որոնք հնչել են Արցախի, անկլավների, զոհերի, զոհերի ծնողերի, եկեղեցու, ընդհանուր բարոյականության շուրջ: Դա վերաբերում է թե՛ հասարակ մարդկանց, թե՛ նախկին նախագահներին, քաղաքական ուժերին, ԱԺ խմբակցություններին, հավասարապես՝ խմբակցությունների խիստ բարեկեցիկ և նվազ բարեկեցիկ անդամներին, և այլն: Վերաբերում է մտավորականներին, արվետի մարդկանց, հանրային հեղինակություն վայելող դեմքերին: Վերաբերում է հասարակությանը՝ ամբողջությամբ:

Հասարակությունն իր լռությամբ արդեն մեկ անգամ ստորագրել է նույն Փաշինյանի արած հրեշավոր մի հայտարարության տակ՝ այն մասին, որ կռիվն ինքը հնարավոր պահի չի կանգնեցրել, որպեսզի իրեն չանվանեն դավաճան: Հիմա հասարակությանը սպառնում է երկրորդ ստորագրությունը: Այսօր բոլոր քաղաքական և հանրային ուժերն ու անհատները անհատապես պետք է արտահայտվեն, եթե չեն ուզում դնել իրենց ստորագրությունը: Նիկոլն այս հայտարարությամբ փորձում է ստանալ հանրային լեգիտիմություն՝ իր քայլերի համար, քանի որ գիտակցում է, որ միայն 2021-ի թղթե մաշված մանդատն արդեն բավարար չէ այս ծանրության որոշումներ անցկացնելու համար:

Նա փորձում  է ստանալ բոլորի լուռ համաձայնությունը: Մեզ անհրաժեշտ է ցույց տալ, որ նա իր գործողություններում և պայմանավորվածություններում չունի հանրային լեգիտիմություն, որ նա չի ներկայացնում լայն հասարակությանը՝ իր բոլոր խմբերով՝ քաղաքական ուժեր, հանրային կառույցներ, ազդեցիկ անհատներ: Բոլորը, ովքեր չեն պատրաստվում ստորագրել Նիկոլի ասածների տակ, պետք է արտահայտվեն: Այդ թվում՝ քաղաքական և հայեցողական պաշտոններ զբաղեցնող պետական պաշտոնյաները և նաև հենց իր՝ Նիկոլի քաղաքական ուժի ներկայացուցիչները»,- նշել է նա։
