Մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպան Անահիտ Մանասյանը մայիսի 24-ին, ընդունել է Հայաստանի Հանրապետությունում Շվեդիայի Թագավորության Արտակարգ և լիազոր դեսպան Պատրիկ Սվենսոնին:

Հանդիպման շրջանակում Պաշտպանը ներկայացրել է սահմանամերձ բնակավայրերի բնակիչների իրավունքների պաշտպանությանը, Լաչինի միջանցքի շրջափակման հետևանքով առաջացած խնդիրներին վերաբերելի հարցեր:

Անդրադարձ է կատարել ՄԻՊ գործունեության առաջնահերթություններին, այդ թվում՝ խաղաղ հավաքների իրավունքի ապահովմանը, ընտանիքում բռնության դեմ պայքարին, երեխաների, կանանց և հաշմանդամություն ունեցող անձանց իրավունքների պաշտպանությանը։

Տիկին Մանասյանը մատնանշել է երկու պետությունների մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանության առաքելությունն իրականացնող հաստատությունների միջև ձևավորված կայուն փոխգործակցության կարևորությունը։

Պաշտպանն ընդգծել է դեռևս նախորդ տարի Հայաստանի Հանրապետության մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանի աշխատակազմի և Շվեդիայի Լունդ քաղաքի Ռ. Վալենբերգի անվան Մարդու իրավունքների և մարդասիրական իրավունքի ինստիտուտի միջև ստորագրված փոխըմբռնման հուշագրի կարևորությունը։

Կողմերը քննարկել են ինստիտուտի հետ համատեղ իրականացվող ծրագրերը, որոնք, ի թիվս այլնի, ուղղված են Պաշտպանի՝ որպես կանխարգելման ազգային մեխանիզմի մոնիթորինգային կարողությունների զարգացմանը:

Իր հերթին, Պատրիկ Սվենսոնը նշել է, որ Շվեդիայի Թագավորության համար մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանության ապահովումն ու երաշխավորումը ևս առաջնահերթություն է: Այս համատեքստում Դեսպանը ներկայացրել է իրավունքի գերակայության, ժողովրդավարության և մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանության ոլորտում Շվեդիայի կողմից ՀՀ-ում իրականացվող ծրագրերն ու նախատեսվող միջոցառումները։

Քննարկվել են նաև Պաշտպանի՝ Ստրասբուրգ կատարած այցի մանրամասները և կարևորվել 2023-2025 թթ. ՀՀ-ԵԽ Գործողությունների ծրագրի շրջանակներում Պաշտպանի աշխատակազմի հետ համատեղ իրականացվելիք ծրագրերն ու միջոցառումները, այդ թվում Շվեդիայի Թագավորության ֆինանսական աջակցությամբ։

Հանդիպման ավարտին կողմերը վերահաստատել են տարբեր ձևաչափերով համագործակցելու պատրաստակամությունը։
