Պաշտպանի համար յուրաքանչյուր երեխայի լավագույն շահն առաջնահերթություն է, իրավունքների պաշտպանությունը մեր երկրում պետք է երաշխավորված լինի։ Առհասարակ, երեխայի նկատմամբ բռնության ցանկացած դրսևորում՝ անկախ հանգամանքից, անընդունելի է։

ՄԱԿ-ի «Երեխայի իրավունքների մասին» կոնվենցիայով, ինչպես նաև ներպետական օրենսդրությամբ՝ Պետությունն ունի պարտավորություն ձեռնարկելու բոլոր միջոցները՝ երաշխավորելու համար երեխայի պաշտպանությունը բռնությունից՝ անկախ բռնության դրսևորման ձևից:

Երեխան պետք է պաշտպանված լինի բռնության բոլոր ձևերից, այդ թվում՝ ֆիզիկական կամ հոգեբանական, ծեծից, վիրավորանքից կամ չարաշահումից, ծաղրանքից կամ անտեսումից, կոպիտ վերաբերմունքից, շահագործումից և այլն:

Հարցի առնչությամբ պարզաբանումներ են պահանջվել ՀՀ ՆԳՆ ոստիկանությունից և Գլխավոր դատախազությունից։

Երեխայի լավագույն շահի ապահովմանն առնչվող հարցերը քննարկվել են նաև Դիլիջան համայնքի իրավասու ներկայացուցչի հետ։

Բացի այդ, ՄԻՊ աշխատակազմը մշտական կապի մեջ է անչափահաս տուժողի շահերի ներկայացուցչի՝ փաստաբանի հետ։
