Ֆրեզնոյի պետական համալսարանի մի խումբ ուսանողներ այցելել են Հայոց ցեղասպանության հուշահամալիր

Ֆրեզնոյի պետական համալսարանի (ԱՄՆ) Հայագիտության ամբիոնի մի խումբ ուսանողներ իրենց ամբիոնի վարիչ դոկտոր Բարլոու սարկավագ Տեր-Մկրտչյանի ուղեկցությամբ այցելել են Հայոց ցեղասպանության հուշահամալիր: Այս մասին հաղորդագրություն տարածել Հայոց ցեղասպանության թանգարան-ինստիտուտը։
Նրանց դիմավորել է և հուշահամալիրի ստեղծման պատմությունը ներկայացրել է Հայոց ցեղասպանության թանգարան-ինստիտուտի տնօրեն Հարություն Մարությանը: Նա անդրադարձ է կատարել նաև Ծիծեռնակաբերդի տարածքում անցյալ դարավերջին Ադրբեջանի Սումգայիթ, Կիրովաբադ (Գանձակ), Բաքու քաղաքներում ադրբեջանական կառավարության կազմակերպած կոտորածներին զոհ գնացած հայերի հիշատակին տեղադրված երեք խաչքարերի պատմություններին՝ շեշտելով, որ հայ ժողովրդի ընկալման մեջ Ադրբեջանի կողմից իրականացվող ջարդերը իրենց իրականացման մեթոդներով Հայոց ցեղասպանության շարունակությունն էին և պատահական չէր, որ ժողովուրդը այդ խաչքարերը բերել և տեղադրել էր հենց Հայոց ցեղասպանության հուշարձանի հարևանությամբ:
Հարություն Մարությանը ուսանողներին ներկայացրել է նաև Արցախյան գոյամարտի տարիներին Հուշապատի դիմացի հատվածում հուղարկավորված հինգ ազատամարտիկների պատմությունները:

ԱՄՆ-ից ժամանած ուսանողները ծաղիկներ են դրել անմար կրակի մոտ և մեկ րոպե լռությամբ հարգել Հայոց ցեղասպանության անմեղ զոհերի հիշատակը:

Նրանք շրջել են նաև Հայոց ցեղասպանության թանգարանում, որտեղ ՀՑԹԻ ավագ էքսկուրսավար Հասմիկ Մարտիրոսյանի ուղեկցությամբ ծանոթացել են մշտական և ժամանակավոր ցուցադրություններին:

Այնուհետև ՀՑԹԻ գիտաժողովների սրահում նրանց հյուրընկալել է ՀՑԹԻ գիտական աշխատանքների գծով փոխտնօրեն, պ.գ.թ. Էդիտա Գզոյանը, որը ուսանողներին ծանոթացրել է ՀՑԹԻ ծավալած գիտական գործունեությանը, մասնավորապես ներկայացրեց ՀՑԹԻ գիտական կառուցվածքը, գրախոսվող երկու ամսագրերը` հայալեզու Ցեղասպանագիտական հանդես և անգլալեզու International Journal of Armenian Genocide Studies.

Բարլոու Տեր-Մկրտչյանը շնորհակալություն է հայտնել ջերմ ընդունելության համար և կարևորել է ուսանողների այցելությունը Հայաստան, որով նրանց համար լավագույն հնարավորությունն է ընձեռվում ճանաչելու և հաղորդակցվելու հայ հոգևոր ու մշակութային ժառանգությանը։

Ֆրեզնոյի Կալիֆոռնիայի պետական համալսարանի Հայագիտության ամբիոնի տնօրեն պրոֆեսոր Բարլոու Տեր-Մկրտչյանի նախաձեռնությամբ 2021 թ.-ից սկսած ամեն տարի ՀՑԹԻ գիտաշխատողներին տրվում են մրցանակներ՝ լավագույն հոդված, լավագույն մենագրություն և լավագույն ժողովածու կամ գրքի/ժողովածուի գլուխ և այլ անվանակարգերում:
