 Հայաստանի Ազգային ժողովի նախագահ Ալեն Սիմոնյանի գլխավորած պատվիրակությունը հանդիպել է Մեծ Բրիտանիայի եւ Հյուսիսային Իռլանդիայի Միացյալ Թագավորության խորհրդարանի Համայնքների պալատի ղեկավար Պենի Մորդընթին, այս մասին հայտնեցին ՀՀ Ազգային ժողովի հասարակայնության հետ կապերի և հաղորդակցության վարչությունից։

ԱԺ խոսնակը նշել է, որ այս այցը Միացյալ Թագավորություն լավ առիթ է քննարկելու երկու երկրների համագործակցությանը վերաբերող հարցեր` հավելելով, որ Հայաստանը շահագրգռված է կայուն հիմքերի վրա դնել եւ զարգացնել ՄԹ հետ բազմակողմ հարաբերությունները:

Անդրադարձ է եղել հունիսի 1-ին Քիշնեւում երկու երկրների վարչապետների կարճ հանդիպմանը եւ ՄԹ Եվրոպայի հարցերով պետնախարար Լեո Դոքերթիի Հայաստան այցին:

ՀՀ ԱԺ նախագահը բարձր է գնահատել ՄԹ կողմից իրականացվող խորհրդարանի կարողությունների հզորացմանն ուղղված ծրագրերը:

ՀՀ ԱԺ պատվիրակության անդամները տարածաշրջանի անվտանգության շուրջ մտքեր են փոխանակել բրիտանացի գործընկերների հետ՝ մանրամասնելով ադրբեջանական ագրեսիայի հետեւանքով առաջացած իրավիճակը:
