Նյու Յորքում ՄԱԿ ԳԱ 78-րդ նստաշրջանի շրջանակներում սեպտեմբերի 20-ին ՀՀ ԱԳ նախարար Արարատ Միրզոյանը հանդիպում է ունեցել Շվեյցարիայի Համադաշնության արտաքին հարաբերությունների դաշնային դեպարտամենտի ղեկավար Իգնասիո Կասիսի հետ:

Հանդիպման ընթացքում հանգամանալից քննարկվել է սեպտեմբերի 19-ի առավոտյան Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի ժողովրդի դեմ Ադրբեջանի կողմից սանձազերծված հերթական լայնածավալ ագրեսիայի հետևանքով ստեղծված իրավիճակը: Արարատ Միրզոյանն ընդգծել է, որ Ադրբեջանը շարունակում է իր որդեգրած ագրեսիվ և ԼՂ էթնիկ զտմանն ուղղված քաղաքականությունը՝ կարևորելով Լեռնային Ղարաբաղում զանգվածային ոճրագործության կանխման և ԼՂ ժողովրդի անվտանգության և իրավունքների հասցեագրման հրամայականը:

ԱԳ նախարար Միրզոյանն ընդգծել է, որ ստեղծված իրավիճակում միջազգային գործընկերների կողմից ցանկացած երկակի արձագանք Ադրբեջանի կողմից մեկնաբանվել է և կմեկնաբանվի որպես իր գործողություններում ամենաթողություն՝ ընդգծելով տարածաշրջանում կայունությամբ հետաքրքրված դերակատարների կողմից համարժեք արձագանքի ու հստակ քայլերի անհրաժեշտությունը։ Կարևորվել է նաև Լեռնային Ղարաբաղ հումանիտար հասանելիության ապահովումը և Կարմիր Խաչի միջազգային կոմիտեի լիարժեք գործունեության ապահովումը, որը խաթարվում էր Ադրբեջանի կողմից Լաչինի միջանցքի՝ 9 ամիս շարունակվող արգելափակման հետևանքով։

Անդրադարձ է կատարվել սեպտեմբերի 21-ին նախատեսվող ՄԱԿ Անվտանգության խորհրդի նիստին։
