«Ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթը գրում է. Երեւանի նախկին քաղաքապետ Ալբերտ Բազեյանին պահում են Նուբարաշենի բանտի մենախցում ու կտրել են նրա կապը արտաքին աշխարհի հետ։ «Ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթին հայտնի դարձավ, որ Ալբերտ Բազեյանը դիմում է գրել բանտի ղեկավար կազմին իրեն թերթ տալ, ինչպես մյուս կալանավորներին են տալիս, կամ հեռուստացույց, սակայն դիմումին որեւէ պատասխան չի եղել։

Վերջինիս պաշտպան Գեորգի Մելիքյանը հայտնեց, որ Ալբերտ Բազեյանի նկատմամբ այս պատժամիջոցների՝ մենախցում պահելու, արտաքին աշխարհի հետ կապը կտրելու դրսեւորումների մասով դիմում է ներկայացրել Մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանին, ու մինչ օրս արձագանք չկա։ Նշենք, որ Ալբերտ Բազեյանն ԱԱԾ-ում ասել է, որ իր նկատմամբ քաղաքական հետապնդում է իրականացվում։

Ըստ ԱԱԾ-ի՝ «Խաչակիրներ» ռազամահայրենասիրական ՀԿ անդամները, ինչպես նաեւ Ալբերտ Բազեյանը եւ այլ անձինք, ունենալով հակաիշխանական հայացքներ, ՀՀ կառավարության անդամների եւ ղեկավարի նկատմամբ գաղափարական թշնամանք, նախնական համաձայնության գալով միմյանց հետ, պայմանավորվածություններ են ձեռք բերել իրենց մոտ պահվող զենք-զինամթերքը որպես հանցագործության գործիք օգտագործելու միջոցով կյանքի կամ առողջության համար վտանգավոր բռնություն գործադրելու եղանակով եւ դրա սպառնալիքով զավթելու իշխանությունը, մասնավորապես՝ Սահմանադրությամբ չնախատեսված այլ եղանակով տիրանալու Հայաստանի Հանրապետության կառավարության լիազորություններին:

Հանցավոր խմբի անդամները ձեռք են բերել հեռահաղորդակցության սարքեր, հեռախոսային ու այլ կապը խլացնող սարքեր, հանցանքի կատարումը հեշտացնող միջոցներ եւ գործիքներ, ինչպես նաեւ դիտավորությամբ ստեղծել են այլ պայմաններ՝ այդկերպ նախապատրաստվելով կատարել նախնական համաձայնությամբ, խմբի կազմում իշխանության յուրացում, սակայն իրենց կամքից անկախ հանգամանքներով չեն կարողացել սկսել իրենց դիտավորության մեջ ընդգրկված հանցանքի օբյեկտիվ կողմի կատարումը, նախապատրաստվող առանձնապես ծանր հանցագործությունը բացահայտվել եւ խափանվել է Հայաստանի Հանրապետության ազգային անվտանգության ծառայության աշխատակիցների կողմից»:
