Հայաստանում Իրանի դեսպան Մեհդի Սոբհանին Սիվիլնեթին տված հարցազրույցում արտահայտվել է Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի ժողովրդի իրավունքները պահպանելու անհրաժեշտության մասին:

«Մենք միջազգային, ՄԱԿ-ի նորմերի համապատասխան ճանաչում ենք եւ  Հայաստանի եւ Ադրբեջանի տարածքային ամողջականությունը, բայց սա չի նշանակում, որ պիտի խախտվեն այն մարդկանց իրավունքները, որոնք այնտեղ են: Մենք գտնում ենք, որ Ղարաբաղի ժողովրդի իրավունքները պետք է ապահովվեն, Ղարաբաղի ժողովրիդից յուրաքանչյուրի իրավունքները պետք է ապահովեն, նրանք պետք է իրենց իրավունքներն իրացնելու հնարավորություն ունենան: Սա իրողություն է, որը ոչ ոք, այդ թվում Ադրբեջանը չի կարող անտեսել: Երբ սկսվեց Ղարաբաղի ճգնաժամը եւ ղարաբաղցիները եկան Հայաստան, փասխստականների մի խումբ Կապանում էր, ես գնացի եւ հարցրեցի նրանց, թե ինչու են լքել տարածքը եւ նրանք ասացին, որ իրենց կյանքին վտանգ է սպառնում: Երկիրը, որ ուրիշներին անվանում է իր քաղաքացիներ, պետք է այնպիսի պայմաններ ապահովի, որ այդ մարդիկ իրենց ապահով զգան եւ այդ տարածքը, հողը չլքեն: Մենք Ղարաբաղի բնակիչների օրինական եւ լեգիտիմ իրավունքների ապահովման կողմնակից ենք»,-ասել է նա:

Խոսելով Հայաստանով անցնող ճանապարհների դեպքում միջանցք տերմինն օգտագործողների մասին՝ նա ասել է․ «Նրանց հայտարարությունների հետևում թաքնված մտքեր կան»։

«Մենք Հայաստանի անկախության, տարածքային ամբողջականության և ինքնիշխանության կողմնակից ենք և դեմ ենք ցանկացած բանի, որը կխախտի նրա միջազգային սահմանները: Միջանցքի մասին պետք է նշեմ, որ միջազգային գրականության մեջ դա նշանակում է հաղորդակցության ուղի, բայց երբ այն առնչվում է Հայաստանին, հատուկ իրավական իմաստ է ստանում։ Նրանք, ովքեր կրկնում են այդ բառը, հատուկ իմաստով են այն օգտագործում և նրանք իրենց հայտարարությունների հետևում թաքնված մտքեր ունեն»,- ասել է դեսպանը։

Իրանի դեսպանի համոզմամբ՝ Իրանը դեմ չէ հաղորդակցության ուղիների վերականգնմանը, բայց անընդունելի է համարում Հայաստանի վերահսկողությունից դուրս ճանապարհների առկայությունը։

«Մենք դեմ ենք այն կոմունիկացիաներին և ուղիներին, որոնք դուրս են Հայաստանի ինքնիշխանությունից և հարցականի տակ են դնում Հայաստանի անկախությունը։ Մեր տեսանկյունից ուղին, որը չի լինի Հայաստանի վերահսկողության և ինքնիշխանության ներքո, անընդունելի է»,- ասել է Մեհդի Սոբհանին։
