«Ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթը գրում է . «Նոր Հայաստանում կանանց դերը շատ մեծ է եւ կարեւոր: Դրա վկայությունն է այն, որ երկու տարի առաջ հենց կանանց աննախադեպ քաղաքական ակտիվությունը դարձավ այն շրջադարձային կետը, որը թույլ տվեց Հայաստանում իրականացնել պատմական փոփոխություններ». իշխանության գալուց հետո ահա այսպիսի շեշտադրմամբ ու հռետորաբանությամբ էր ուղերձներ հղում Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը՝ պատկերավոր եւ գեղեցիկ բառերով փաթեթավորված ներկայացնելով իր իշխանության օրոք կանանց դերի բարձրացումը քաղաքական դաշտում:

Իշխող մեծամասնությունը դրոշակ էր սարքել այն, որ իրենց իշխանության օրոք պետական ապարատում կին պաշտոնյաները շատ են՝ գլխավոր դատախազ, առողջապահության նախարար եւ այսպես շարունակ: Իսկ ինչպիսի՞ պատկեր է իրականում. կին պաշտոնյաների նկատմամբ այս իշխանությունների վերաբերմունքի մասին լավագույնս կարող ենք պատկերացում կազմել՝ ընդամենը հետեւելով նախորդող երկու օրերին ԱԺ-ում տիրող իրադարձություններին: Խորհրդարանը շուրջ երկու օր քննարկում էր Կոռուպցիայի կանխարգելման հանձնաժողովի անդամների ընտրության հարցը: Պաշտոնում առաջադրված երկու թեկնածուներն էլ կին էին՝ Կոռուպցիայի կանխարգելման հանձնաժողովի նախկին նախագահ Հայկուհի Հարությունյանը եւ հանձնաժողովի վարչության պետ Նարինե Ավետիսյանը:

Թե ինչպիսի արհամարհական, վիրավորական եւ հարձակողական վերաբերմունք էին ՔՊ-ականները ցուցաբերում կին թեկնածուների նկատմամբ, բոլորի աչքի առաջ էր: Իշխանականները, օգտվելով իրենց՝ մեծամասնություն լինելու առավելությունից, «հարձակվել էին» կին թեկնածուների վրա ու ակնհայտորեն փորձում էին հոգեբանական ճնշում գործադրել, նսեմացնել նրանց: Վերջում էլ, խիստ նվաստացուցիչ վերաբերմունք ցույց տալով, հրաժարվեցին անգամ նրանց քվեարկությանը մասնակցել:

ArmLur.am-ը գրել էր, որ ԱԺ նիստերից դուրս էլ ՔՊ-ն արհամարհական վերաբերմունք է ցույց տվել կին թեկնածուների նկատմամբ ու անգամ նրանց սպասելու տեղ չի հատկացրել ԱԺ սենյակներում, ինչի պատճառով նրանք ստիպված են եղել ԱԺ միջանցքներում սպասել: Ահա, միայն այս ամենը փաստում է, որ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի իշխանությունը միայն վերամբարձ ու ականջահաճո հայտարարություններ է սիրում անել, իսկ իրականում կանանց թիրախավորում են հենց ՔՊ-ականները»:
