MOSCOW, December 27. /TASS/. The approval of economic and commercial terms on the implementation of the Power of Siberia-2 project by Gazprom and China’s CNPC is being finalized now, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said in an interview aired by the Rossiya-24 TV news channel.
"Agreement in principle that the project will be implemented, has been reached with Chinese [partners]. The approval of economic terms, commercial terms of the implementation of the project by Gazprom and China National Petroleum Corporation is being finalized now," he said, adding that the price, terms of supplies and payment are being defined.
Design and survey works on construction of the pipeline’s section on Mongolian territory are also underway now, Novak added.
