Ադրբեջանագետ Տաթևիկ Հայրապետյանը գրում է․

«Քանի որ մասնագիտության բերումով շատ եմ առնչվող պետական մակարդակով Ադրբեջանում հայերի դեմ քարոզվող ատելության դրսևորումների հետ, ցանկանում եմ մի ուշագրավ մեջբերում անել Ադրբեջանի իշխող ուժի պատգամավոր Էլման Մամեդովի՝ անցած տարվա մայիսի 11-ին արված հայտարարությունից։

Նա մասնավորապես ասել էր․

«Այսինքն, եթե նույնիսկ ստորագրեն «խաղաղության համաձայնագիր» կոչվող փաստաթուղթը, չեն հարգի դրա պահանջները, մինչև նրանք ամբողջովին չոչնչացվեն և չփշրվեն։ Հայերի հետքը, ծագումը, արմատները պետք է մաքրել ողջ Հարավային Կովկասից․․․Անընդհատ պետք է տրորել, «երկաթե բռունցքը» գլխներին լինի, գլուխը բարձրացնելուն պես գլխներին խփի։ Այլ կերպ հնարավոր չէ։ Եթե հայերի հետ նորմալ մարդու նման պահես վարքագծի կանոնները, նրանք կատաղում են, դուրս են գալիս իրենց սահմաններից, պատրաստվում ու անում են այն, ինչ գիտեն․․․»։

Ինչու՞ եմ մեջբերել անցած տարվա հայտարարություն, որ ևս մեկ անգամ ակնհայտ լինի, որ մինչ Ադրբեջանի բանակցում էր տարբեր հարթակներում թվացյալ խաղաղության մասին, հայերի հանդեպ ատելության քարոզը որևէ ակնթարթ չէր դադարում, մինչ մեր իշխանությունները համակեցություն ու զիջողականություն են քարոզում, Ադրբեջանում մեր հետքը վերացնելու մասին կոչեր են հնչում։ Սա այն ամենն է, ինչ պետք է իմանալ կառուցվող խաղաղության մասին․․․»։
