WhatsApp receives new feature

The latest beta version of WhatsApp for Android (2.24.6.13) has introduced a feature that allows users to pin up to five chats in the general chat list, WABetaInfo website reports.

At this time, all messenger users can pin no more than three chats. It is possible that the developers of the messenger are considering the possibility of increasing the number of pinned chats, but this information has not yet been confirmed.

Increasing the number of pinned chats can be positively received by users, as it allows important and frequently used chats to be stored in a specific place. In this case, they will not go down and get lost in other chats. Moreover, after pinning the necessary correspondences, the user will be able to move them up or down within the space allocated for it.

For now, the innovation is available only to some testers of the messenger on Android. There is no mention of when it will appear in stable versions of WhatsApp across all platforms, including Android, iPhone and PC.

The other day, it became known that WhatsApp is developing a new feature that will allow Android users to choose which third-party apps will be able to chat with this messenger.

WhatsApp has also recently introduced new text formatting features that allow you to structure text, highlight quotes, and use other types of text formatting.
