Պատերազմի ուսումնասիրման ամերիկյան ինստիտուտը (ISW) ռազմաճակատի իրադարձությունների վերաբերյալ իր վերջին զեկույցում նշել է, որ հարձակման ընթացքում ռուսական բանակը կկարողանա աջակցել հարձակողական գործողություններին ոչ ավելի, քան մեկ օպերատիվ ուղղությամբ: ISW փորձագետները ենթադրում են, որ նման ուղղություն կարող է լինել Դոնեցկի շրջանի արևմուտքը, մասնավորապես, Ավդեևկա քաղաքի տարածքը, որը վերջերս անցել է ռուս զինվորականների վերահսկողության տակ։

Պատերազմի ուսումնասիրման ինստիտուտը վկայակոչում է ռուսական ուժերի անհաջող հարձակումը, որը տեղի է ունեցել մարտի 30-ին Ավդեևկայի մոտ գտնվող Տոնենկոե գյուղի մոտ, որպես ապացույց, որ ռուսական բանակը կարող է կենտրոնացնել իր հիմնական ուժերը այնտեղ։

Ինչպես նշվում է զեկույցում, ուկրաինական ուժերն այս շրջանում կարողացել են հետ մղել ռուսների գրոհը։ ISW-ի հեղինակները, հղում կատարելով ուկրաինացի զինծառայողներին, գրել են, որ մարտի 30-ին Տոնենկոյեի մոտ ՌԴ բանակը մարտի է ուղարկել 36 տանկ և 12 հետևակի զրահամեքենա։

ISW-ի փորձագետների կարծիքով՝ մարտի 30-ի գրոհի մասշտաբը էական փաստ է, քանի որ ռուսական ուժերը չեն դիմել նման գործողությունների  2023 թվականի հոկտեմբերին Ավդեևկայի հարձակումից ի վեր։

«Ուկրաինայի՝ մարտի 30-ի գրոհը հետ մղելու ունակությունը հատկապես Ավդեևկայի մոտ, որտեղ ուկրաինական զորքերը ստիպված էին նահանջել, «դրական վկայությունն է այն մասին, որ Ուկրաինայի ԶՈւ-ն կարող է պաշտպանվել ռուսական ապագա հարձակումներից 2024 թվականի ամռանը»,- կարծում են փորձագետները։

Ավդեևկայի մոտ ռուսական ուժերի հարձակման մասշտաբը վկայում է այն մասին, որ ռուսական ռազմական ղեկավարությունը առաջնահերթ է համարում հենց այդ ուղղությունը, և հենց այստեղ կարող է կենտրոնանալ ապագա ամառային հարձակումը, ենթադրում են ISW-ի ամփոփագրի հեղինակները։

Ուկրաինացի պաշտոնյաները վերջերս նախազգուշացրել են Խարկով-Լուգանսկ առանցքում ռուս զինծառայողների կուտակման մասին Բախմուտի, Ավդեևկայի մոտ և Զապորոժիեի մարզի արևմուտքում։ Բայց ISW-ն շարունակում է կարծել, որ ՌԴ բանակը կկարողանա մասշտաբային հարձակողական գործողություններ սկսել միայն մեկ օպերատիվ ուղղությամբ՝ զորակազմի և պլանավորման սահմանափակումների խնդիրների պատճառով»։
