Ապրիլի 9-ին ՌԴ պաշտպանության նախարարությունը հայտնել է, որ վերջին 24 ժամվա ընթացքում ուկրաինական զորքերը Դոնեցկի ուղղությամբ կորցրել են ավելի քան 480 զինվորի։ Ինչպես հայտնել են գերատեսչությունում, «Հարավ» զորքերի խմբավորման ստորաբաժանումները ռազմաճակատի այս հատվածում գրավել են առավել շահեկան դիրքեր և կրակային վնասներ են հասցրել Ուկրաինայի զինված ուժերի չորս բրիգադների անձնակազմին։

Ավելին, ռուսական կործանիչները հաշմանդամ են դարձրել յոթ ուկրաինական մեքենա և մեկ Krab ինքնագնաց հրետանային ստորաբաժանում: Ուկրաինայի ԶՈւ ստորաբաժանումները կորցրել են նաև Rapier հակատանկային հրացան և այլ տեխնիկա։
