NSS: Armenia shepherd ends up in Azerbaijan while searching for his flock, shooting ensues from 2 sides

An incident took place on Wednesday in the Nerkin Khndzoresk village section of the Armenia-Azerbaijan border, informed the National Security Service (NSS) of Armenia.

A shepherd, an Armenian citizen, ended up in the territory of Azerbaijan while searching for his lost flock.

Due to the situation, the border guards of both sides opened fire.

As a result, the Azerbaijani side has one wounded.

The border guard troops of the NSS of Armenia are ready for a joint investigation with the border guard troops of Azerbaijan.

Regardless of the joint investigation, the border guard troops of Armenia conduct their own investigation and the results will be reported additionally.

The question of why and how the aforesaid shepherd and his flock crossed the border also needs to be answered.

The Azerbaijani side has returned the lost flock.

The shepherd is also in the territory of Armenia now.
