Why did the journalists refer to Saroyan’s son's wedding? Is this journalism’s level?
BlogosphereFormer Police Chief Robert Melkonyan wrote in his facebook page:
“Today perversion of phenomena, value and situation assessment takes place in Armenia.
Today, unfortunately, many of our journalists behave like a hewer, they value the tree only after cutting it… In any case, they automatically take to the saw. We organized, cut, threw down, destroyed, sooted, squashed, poisoned, defaced... and standing around the tree or trees, we can sigh quietly and enjoy…
Today one of newspapers writes: “On 12.12.12 many weddings have taken place. The most interesting wedding probably can be considered Republican MP Seyran Saroyan's son's wedding."
Well, dear journalists in which standards did you decide that this wedding was the most interesting of that day? Perhaps, an ordinary citizen, a normal loving couple, simple wedding was more beautiful and interesting, wasn’t it?
Deplore you, Armenian people, when instead of having fun, congratulating each other, wishing during the weddings, the present people fix which famous people are present, who has danced, who has greeted somebody, who has smiled, etc.
