Pilot of crashed plane in Kazakhstan was Armenian
Emergency CaseAstana TV has announced the list of those killed in the plane crash near Almaty. According to specified data, a total of 21 people - 16 passengers and 5 crew members were killed, Trend.az reports.
The list of those killed in the plane was the 2nd pilot Armenian Slava Babayan.
As a source of SCAT airlines told Trend, the flight was commercial and a group of businessmen was on board. According to unconfirmed information, a child was among the passengers.
On January 29, 2013, at about 13:00, Chellenger-200 aircraft of SCAT Airline, operating flight No.760 on Kokshetau-Almaty route crashed five kilometres short of the runway at Almaty.
According to preliminary information, the accident was caused by thick fog.
Criminal case was initiated on the plane crash. Investigation on the incident will be lead by a special government commission.
