Russian-Finnish culture center opens in Helsinki

A Russian-Finnish cultural center is opening today in Helsinki, TASS reported.

The center, proposed by a local foundation promoting cultural ties between the two countries, will become a platform for regular exhibitions by Russian and Polish artists, meetings with writer and poets and film retrospectives.

There are an estimated 60,000 Russian nationals currently living in Finland.
