Ruling partyof Azerbaijan: "Publication of novel ‘Stone Dreams’ in Armenia to further strengthen ideological propaganda against Azerbaijan."
ForeignThe translation of the novel 'Stone Dreams' by Akram Naibov (Aylisli) into the Armenian language will increase the intensity of ideological subversion against Azerbaijan, deputy executive secretary of the ruling New Azerbaijan party Mubariz Gurbanli told Trend on Thursday.
"The notorious novel has already been published in the Armenian language," he said. "Of course, the enemy never sleeps, using all means to carry out ideological sabotage and black PR against Azerbaijan."
He said that the novel 'Stone Dreams' is one of the means in this PR campaign against Azerbaijan.
"While translating the novel into the Armenian language and then other languages, Armenians will tell the world that the novel was written by an Azerbaijani writer, although Azerbaijani society does not recognize him as a writer," he added.
"This is harmful to the Azerbaijani people, especially since it is by a person who considers himself an Azerbaijani and intellectual," he said.
The Stone Dream is a scandalous novel by writer Aylisli which distorts historical facts. It has been published in Armenia.
