Belgium train crash aftermath continues
ԱշխարհIn Belgium the number of victims of a train crash continues to grow with 43 people so far seeking medical attention.
All of the victims have complained of respiratory irritation and breathing problems.
On Tuesday about a hundred residents of Wetteren were re-evacuated after a fire in an underground sewage system started due to an increased concentration of toxic gases.
The train crash occurred on Saturday night near the city of Ghent, when a train traveling from the Netherlands was switching tracks and several cars tipped over and ended on their sides.
Several of the tanker cars fire and leaked out toxic substances including cyanide leading to explosions.
On Monday most of the 500 residents who had been evacuated returned to their homes. However about 50 people remain in temporary shelters provided to them by the authorities.
