«Հրապարակ» թերթը գրում է. «Վստրեչի Ապերին՝ Արամ Վարդանյանին, նրա դստերը՝ Ելենա Վարդանյանին, որդուն՝ Կարեն Վարդանյանին, հրավիրել են դատախազություն՝ ապօրինի ծագում ունեցող գույքի բռնագանձման գործերով։ Azdarar.am-ում նրանք հրապարակային ծանուցվել են, որ ՀՀ գլխավոր դատախազության՝ ապօրինի ծագում ունեցող գույքի բռնագանձման գործերով վարչությունում իրենց պատկանող գույքի առնչությամբ իրականացվում է ուսումնասիրություն, ուստի օգոստոսի 9-ին հրավիրվում են «դիրքորոշում հայտնելու»։

Սակայն հարցն այն է, որ ապօրինի ծագմամբ գույքի բռնագրավման գործընթացն ի սկզբանե նախաձեռնվել էր կոռուպցիոն հանցագործությունների համար եւ նախկին պաշտոնյաների դեպքում, ովքեր եկամուտների հայտարարագիր են ներկայացրել, եւ այնտեղ անհամապատասխանություններ են հայտնաբերվել։

Այսինքն՝ պետությունից աշխատավարձ ստացող պաշտոնյան, որն իր աշխատավարձը բազմիցս գերազանցող գույք ունի, պարտավոր է ներկայացնել այդ գույքի ծագման աղբյուրը։ Վստրեչի Ապերը երբեք պետական պաշտոն չի զբաղեցրել, եւ նրան կոռուպցիայի մեջ մեղադրելը նոնսենս է։

Սակայն օրենքում մի սողանցք են թողել՝ դատախազությունից ասացին, որ կան որոշ հանցագործություններ, որոնցով անցնող անձը, եթե ունի 50 միլիոնից ավելի գույք, նույնպես կարող է այս գործընթացի զոհը դառնալ։ Այսինքն՝ ում նկատմամբ ուզեն, կհարուցեն»:
