Եվրամիությունը (ԵՄ) որոշում Է ընդունել Ռուսաստանի համար օդային տարածությունը փակելու մասին, այդ մասին ասված Է փետրվարի 28-ին Եվրամիության Պաշտոնական հանդեսում հրապարակված հաղորդագրության մեջ:

«Արգելվում Է Ռուսաստանի ավիափոխադողների կողմից շահագործվող ցանկացած օդանավերի կամ Ռուսաստանում գրանցված ցանկացած օդանավերի կամ Ռուսաստանում չգրանցված ցանկացած այլ օդանավերի, որոնք Ռուսաստանի ցանկացած ֆիզիկական կամ իրավական անձի սեփականությունն են եւ կամ վարձված են նրանց կողմից կամ այլ կերպ վերահսկվում են Ռուսատանի ֆիզիկական կամ իրավական անձի, կազմակերպության  կամ մարմնի կողմից, վայրԷջքը, թռիչքը կամ անցացիռը Եվրամիության տարածության վրայով»,- նշված Է փաստաթղթում:

Դրա հետ մեկտեղ նշված Է, որ «իրավասու մամինները կարող են օդանավին թույլատրել վայրԷջք կատարել, թռչել կեամ անցնել ԵՄ-ի տարածքի վայով այն դեպքում, եթե նման կարգի վայրԷջքը, թռիչքը կամ անցաթիռն անհրաժեշտ են հումանիտար նպատակաների կամ ցանկացած այլ նպատակների համար, որոնք համապատասախնում են սույն կանոնակարգին»: Ավելի վաղ Եվրամիության 27 երկրների արտաքին գործերի նախարարները հավանություն են տվել Միության օդային տարածության լիակատար փակմանը ռուսասատանյան ինքնաթիռների համար, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
