Քիմ Քարդաշյանը պատմել է, Քանյե Ուեսթի հետ համատեղ ծնողներ լինելը «իսկապես չափազանց դժվար է»։ Նրա խոսքերը մեջբերում է People-ը։

«Ես միանշանակ պաշտպանել եմ նրան և կշարունակեմ պաշտպանել նրան իմ երեխաների աչքում: Իմ տանը երեխաներս ոչինչ չգիտեն այն մասին, թե ինչ է կատարվում արտաքին աշխարհում»,- խոստովանել է աստղը։ Քարդաշյանն ասել է, որ ինքը երեխաներին չի պատմում հանրային տարածքում նախկին ամուսնու պահվածքի մասին և չի քննադատում նրա գործողությունները։

Դերասանուհին ասել է, որ երեխաների հետ հանգիստ է իրեն պահում հոր մասին խոսելիս. «Ես կարող եմ ինձ այնպես պահել, կարծես ոչինչ չի եղել, և երբ նրանց հասցնեմ դպրոց, կարող եմ նստել ու լաց լինել», - ասում է Քարդաշյանը:

Քիմ Քարդաշյանն ու Քանյե Ուեսթը ամուսնացել են 2014 թվականին։ Զույգը չորս երեխա ունի՝ 9-ամյա Նորթը, 7-ամյա Սեյնթը, 4-ամյա Չիկագոն և 3-ամյա Սաղմոսը։ 2021 թվականի փետրվարին Քարդաշյանը ամուսնալուծության հայց ներկայացրեց ռեփերից՝ պատճառաբանելով մի շարք տարաձայնությունները:
