Այս մասին Անկարայում իր թուրք գործընկեր Մևլութ Չավուշօղլուի հետ համատեղ մամուլի ասուլիսում ասել է Իրանի արտգործնախարար Հոսեյն Ամիր Աբդոլլահիանը։

Նրա խոսքով, Իրանը պատրաստ է միջնորդ դառնալ Սիրիայի և Թուրքիայի միջև. «Սիրիան և Թուրքիան երկու կարևոր պետություններ են տարածաշրջանում։ Իրանը նույնպես պատրաստ է միանալ քառակողմ ձեւաչափին, որը ներառում է Սիրիան, Թուրքիան եւ Ռուսաստանը։ Տարածաշրջանում «վեցի պլատֆորմ» նախագիծը հետաքրքրում է թե՛ Թուրքիային, թե՛ Իրանին»:

Նա նաև հայտարարել է, որ Իրանի Իսլամական Հանրապետությունը նախազգուշացնում է, որ բոլոր պետությունները պետք է խելամիտ գործեն իսրայելական կեղծ ռեժիմի վարքագծի նկատմամբ եւ թույլ չտան Իսրայելին ոտք դնել կովկասյան տարածաշրջան։

«Մենք տարածաշրջանում սիոնիստների ներկայությունը լուրջ սպառնալիք ենք համարում տարածաշրջանի խաղաղության եւ կայունության համար»,-ասել է նա։  

Խոսելով տրանսպորտային միջանցքների մասին իրանցի նախարարը հայտարարել է․ «Երբ խոսքը վերաբերում է տարածաշրջանային տրանսպորտային միջանցքներին, ներառյալ Իրանի եւ Թուրքիայի միջեւ միջանցքներին, մենք տարածաշրջանային մրցակցության փոխարեն շեշտը դնում ենք տարածաշրջանային գործընկերության վրա»:
