Власти Еревана ожидают, что летом парк общественного транспорта пополнится еще 171 автобусом

Объявлен тендер, который состоится в конце января, на закупку 8,5-метровых автобусов в количестве 171 единицы. Ожидается, что в течение шести месяцев после завершения тендера автобусы уже должны быть в Ереване, предположительно в июле-августе. Об этом в беседе с корреспондентом Новости Армении – NEWS.am 24 января заявил начальник транспортного управления муниципалитета Вазген Арутюнян.

По его оценке, это существенно изменит ситуацию.

Он сообщил, что в Ереване уже находится новая партия автобусов в количестве 30 единиц, за которые из бюджета города дополнительных денег выплачивать не пришлось.

«Но для полноценного решения проблемы загруженности общественного транспорта нужны также 18-метровые автобусы в количестве 250 единиц. Сейчас ведутся обсуждения с международными организациями и банками для поиска финансовых средств на закупку этих автобусов, поскольку в бюджете города таких денег нет», – отметил Арутюнян.

Он пояснил, что перегруженность общественного транспорта в Ереване обусловлена двумя причинами: пробками и несоблюдением требований количества транспортных средств, которые установлены мэрией для обслуживания того или маршрута.

По его словам, вторая причина связана с тем, что часть автобусов старые и часто выходят из строя. Основная проблема по этой части связана с фиолетовыми автобусами, которым уже более 10 лет.

«В целом для новой транспортной сети нужно более 940 транспортных средств. Требуемого количества пока нет. Нам нужны 18-метровые, 12-метровые и 8,5- метровые автобусы», – заключил чиновник.
