«Ռուս բռնապետ Վլադիմիր Պուտինի ծրագրերն այժմ, հավանաբար, կենտրոնացած են Խարկովը գրավելու ձգտման վրա, սակայն Ուկրաինան անում է ամեն ինչ, որպեսզի դա տեղի չունենա»: Այս մասին Bild-ին տված հարցազրույցում ասել է Ուկրաինայի նախագահ Վոլոդիմիր Զելենսկին։

«Պուտինն, իհարկե, ցանկանում էր գրավել Խարկովը, քանի որ նրա համար դա մեծ խորհրդանիշ է։ Խարկովը Ուկրաինայի մայրաքաղաքներից է, ունի մեծ խորհրդանշական նշանակություն։ Մենք անում ենք հնարավոր ամեն բան, որպեսզի դա տեղի չունենա»,- ասել է Զելենսկին։

Ուկրաինայի նախագահը հայտարարել է, որ Պուտինը հասկանում է միայն ուժի լեզուն։

«Նա նման է կենդանու. եթե չես կարող քեզ պաշտպանել, նա կկործանի քեզ: Նրա ցանկությունն է տիրանալ ողջ Ուկրաինային»,- ասել է նա:

Զելենսկին հայտարարել է, որ հանուն իր նպատակի՝ Պուտինը պատրաստ է ոչնչացնել ամեն ինչ և սպանել շատ մարդկանց։

«Մարդկանց մեծ մասը չի հեռանա, ուստի նա կսպանի նրանցից շատերին: Արյուն շատ կլինի։ Կլինեն բազմաթիվ զոհեր, շատ կորուստներ։ Խոսքը հարյուր հազարների մասին է»,- Խարկովի համար հավանական մարտերը այսպես է նկարագրել Զելենսկին։

Նա հայտարարել է, որ առավելագույն ջանքեր են գործադրվում Խարկովը պաշտպանելու համար։
