ՀՀ Պաշտպանության նախկին նախարար Վիգեն Սարգսյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրել է.

«Գործընկերներս, համախոհներս, բանակի հրամկազմը, ուսանողներս կհիշեն, որ առաջնորդության մասին քննարկումներում միշտ շեշտել եմ, որ առաջնորդի կարևորագույն հատկանիշն առաքինությունն է: Բացատրել եմ, որ իմ պատկերացմամբ իսկական առաջնորդի առաքինությունն իր մտքի, խոսքի և գործի միասնականությունն ու ամբողջականությունն է:

Դիտելով նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանի հարցազրույցը` անընդհատ մտածել եմ, թե որքան առաքինի և ամբողջական կարող է և պետք է լինի առաջնորդը, որպեսզի ստի և դավաճանության ներկայիս միջավայրում երեք ժամ խոսելով երկրի համար կենաց – մահու խնդիրների մասին չարտաբերի մեկ միտք, որն ինձ, որպես ամեն օր իր կողքին եղած, իր վարած բանակցություններին մասնակցած, իրենից անմիջական հրահանգներ ստացած և մեր գործընկերներին իր հանձնարարությունները փոխանցած մարդու առիթ տա գոնե նվազագույն կասկածի կամ վերապահման: Որքան պետք է առաջնորդն արժևորի իր զինակից ընկերների, գործընկերների, նույն խնդիրների հետ առնչված յուրաքանչյուր մարդու վստահությունն ու իր իսկ արժանապատվությունը, որ նույնիսկ տարիներ անց չգայթակղվի փոխելու գեթ մեկ միտք, նախադասություն կամ խոսք` ավելի ականջահաճո լինելու կամ սեփական ճշմարտությունն ավելի համոզիչ դարձնելու համար:

Առաքինության ուժը հենց սրա մեջ է: Կարճաժամկետ պայքարում այն դատապարտված է պոպուլիզմի դեմ պայքարում, քանի որ, ինչպես ցույց տվեցին զարգացումները, շատերը նախընտրում են լսել միայն հաճելին: Իսկ հաղթանակ կերտելու, պետություն կայացնելու, հասարակությունը համախմբելու գործում առաքինությունն անփոխարինելի հատկանիշ է առաջնորդի համար: Շնորհակալ եմ, պարո՛ն նախագահ»:
