Ֆրանսիական Իլ դը Ֆրանս կենտրոնական շրջանի ղեկավար, Ֆրանսիայի նախագահի թեկնածու Վալերի Պեկրեսը Հայաստան կատարած այցելության վերաբերյալ գրառում է կատարել «Ֆեյսբուք» սոցիալական ցանցի իր պաշտոնական էջում:

Վալերի Պեկրեսը գրառմամբ տեղեկացրել է, որ Ֆրանսիայի Սենատի «Հանրապետականներ» խմբակցության ղեկավար Բրունո Ռետայոյի և Ֆրանսիայի նախկին ԱԳ նախարար Միշել Բարնյեի հետ միասին ինքն այցելել է Ֆրանսիայի եղբայրական երկիր՝ հանդես գալով Լեռնային Ղարաբաղում խաղաղության վերականգնման և Հայաստանի տնտեսական ու մշակութային զարգացման և հայկական հոգևոր ժառանգության պահպանման հարցերում Ֆրանսիայի աջակցությունը մեծացնելու օգտին:

Ֆրանսիացի քաղաքական գործիչը գրառմանը կից նաև լուսանկարներ է հրապարակել ՀՀ նախագահ Արմեն Սարգսյանի, Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոս Գարեգին Երկրորդի, Արցախի Հանրապետության նախագահ Արայիկ Հարությունյանի հետ հանդիպումներից և Ծիծեռնակաբերդ կատարած այցելությունից:

Վալերի Պեկրեսը Ֆրանսիայի Իլ դը Ֆրանս կենտրոնական շրջանի խորհրդի նախագահն է: 2021 թ. դեկտեմբերի 4-ին Վալերի Պեկրեսը «Հանրապետականներ» կուսակցության կողմից առաջադրվել է Ֆրանսիայի նախագահի թեկնածու՝ 2022 թ. ապրիլին կայանալիք ընտրություններում:

Դեկտեմբերի 21-ին Վալերի Պեկրեսը Երևանում հանդիպել է ՀՀ նախագահ Արմեն Սարգսյանի, ՀՀ ԱԺ նախագահ Ալեն Սիմոնյանի և արտաքին գործերի նախարար Արարատ Միրզոյանի հետ: Ֆրանսիացի գործիչը նաև այցելել է Հայոց ցեղասպանության հուշահամալիր և Եռաբլուր զինվորական պանթեոն:

Լրատվամիջոցների, այդ թվում՝ «Արմենպրես»-ի հետ ճեպազրույցի ընթացքում Վալերի Պեկրեսը կոչ է արել Ադրբեջանին անվերապահորեն վերադարձնել Բաքվում պահվող հայ գերիներին և նաև շեշտել, որ 2020 թվականին Ադրբեջանի և Թուրքիայի նախաձեռնությամբ Հայաստանի դեմ իրականացված ռազմական ագրեսիան նախազգուշացում էր Եվրոպային:

Հաջորդ օրը՝ դեկտեմբերի 22-ին, նրա գլխավորած պատվիրակությունը մեկնել է Արցախի Հանրապետություն: Ստեփանակերտում Վալերի Պեկրեսը հանդիպում է ունեցել Արցախի Հանրապետության նախագահ Արայիկ Հարությունյանի և արտգործնախարար Դավիթ Բաբայանի հետ:

2020 թ. Արցախյան 44-օրյա պատերազմից հետո Իլ դը Ֆրանսի շրջանային խորհուրդը ընդունել էր Արցախի Հանրապետության ճանաչման մասին բանաձև, ինչպես նաև 75 հազար եվրո օգնություն էր հատկացրել պատերազմի հետևանքով տեղահանված հայ բնակչության կարիքները հոգալու համար:
