«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է. «Ֆրանսիայի հրապարակում մեկնարկել է ստորագրահավաք` բոլոր քաղբանտարկյալներին ազատ արձակելու պահանջով։

«Փաստ» թերթի տեղեկություններով, Հայաստանում քաղբանտարկյալների առկայությունը և ժողովրդավարությունից ակնհայտ հետընթացը անհանգստացնում են ոչ միայն Հայաստանում, այլև արտերկրում: Դիվանագիտական աղբյուրներից մեզ հայտնի դարձավ, որ Հայաստանում հավատարմագրված եվրոպական երկրների դիվանագիտական ներկայացուցիչները նախօրեին փակ հանդիպում են անցկացրել` քննարկելու Հայաստանում ընդդիմության հավաքների ժամանակ կիրառված անհամաչափ ուժի դեպքերն ու մասսայական ձերբակալությունները:

Բանն այն է, որ խաղաղ անհնազանդության ակցիաների մասնակիցներից բերման ենթարկվածների օրական թիվն արդեն գերազանցում է 400-ը, իսկ վերջին երկու շաբաթում ռեկորդային թվով վարչական ձերբակալություններ են արձանագրվել, ինչը խիստ մտահոգում է դեսպաններին: Մեր տեղեկություններով, առանձին քննարկում է եղել ոստիկանության ծառայողների կողմից առանց հիմքի ֆիզիկական ուժ կիրառելու ու բերման ենթարկելու հաճախակիացած դեպքերի մասին, երբ ոստիկանը, պաշտոնական հավելավճարի խոստմամբ, իրեն պատժիչ ուժ է ներկայացրել: Եվրոպական դեսպանների քննարկման առանցքը նաև կալանավորված քաղբանտարկյալներն են եղել:

Խոսքը վերաբերում է Ավետիք Չալաբյանին, Արամայիս Մխիթարյանին, Ազատ Մուրադյանին, Ալեքսան Ալեքսանյանին, Արսեն Մարտոյանին, Գոռ Սարգսյանին, Գոռ Մաթևոսյանին, Գևորգ Մուրադյանին, Գերասիմ Վարդանյանին, Դավիթ Ավագյանին, Տարոն Մանուկյանին, Արմեն Գրիգորյանին: Քննարկման ժամանակ հատուկ շեշտվել է հասարակական գործիչ Ավետիք Չալաբյանի գործոնը, որին իշխանությունները երկու ամսով կալանավորել են Քրեական օրենսգրքի մի հոդվածով, որն իրավաբանական հանրույթի կողմից դատավարական սխալ է համարվում:

Ի դեպ, մենք արդեն տեղեկացրել ենք, որ Չալաբյանի կալանավորումը, մեղմ ասած, լուրջ մտահոգություններ է առաջացրել միջազգային հեղինակավոր մի շարք կազմակերպություններում: Մեր տեղեկություններով, դեսպանները մտադիր են առանձնահատուկ մոնիթորինգի ենթարկել այս ողջ գործընթացը, քանի որ փաշինյանական ռեժիմը հատել է բռնաճնշումների բոլոր սահմանները, եթե, իհարկե, այդպիսիք ընդհանրապես կան»:
