Դեկտեմբերի 21-ին, Ն․Ս․Օ․Տ․Տ․ Գարեգին Երկրորդ Ծայրագույն Պատրիարք և Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսի նախագահությամբ Մայր Աթոռ Սուրբ Էջմիածնում տեղի ունեցավ հայրենական կյանքի կրթական հիմնախնդիրներին նվիրված քննարկում։

Մայր Աթոռից  հայտնում են, որ քննարկմանը մասնակցում էին Մայր Աթոռի Կրթական հանձնախմբի հոգևորական և աշխարհական անդամները, կրթական հաստատությունների ու կառույցների ներկայացուցիչներ, ճանաչված մտավորականներ ու մասնագետներ։

Քննարկվեցին հանրակրթության բնագավառում ԿԳՄՍ նախարարության նախաձեռնած փոփոխություններին առնչվող հարցեր։ Մասնակիցները վերահաստատեցին հանրակրթության պետական և առարկայական չափորոշիչների և ծրագրերի վերաբերյալ արտահայտած վերապահումները, մասնավոր անդրադարձ ունեցան «Հայոց Պատմություն» առարկայի 7-րդ դասարանի նոր դասագրքին։ Արձանագրվեց, որ դպրոցական հիշյալ ձեռնարկում տեղ են գտել հայեցակարգային, մեթոդաբանական, գիտական, այդ թվում եկեղեցագիտական և կարևորագույն այլ բնույթի կոպտագույն սխալներ ու բացթողումներ։

Խոր մտահոգությամբ արձանագրվեց, որ դասագրքում օբյեկտիվությամբ ու պատշաճ ծավալով ներկայացված չեն ազգային, պետական ու հոգևոր կյանքի պատմական կարևորագույն իրադարձությունները, կերպարներն ու խորհրդանիշերը։

Ելնելով արտահայտված վերապահումներից՝ քննարկման մասնակիցները ընդգծեցին, որ աղճատված և սխալաշատ այս դասագրքի ուսուցմամբ խաթարվելու է սերունդների ազգային դաստիարակության ու կրթության կարևորագույն առաքելությունը։

Անհրաժեշտ համարվեց, որ  ՀՀ ԿԳՄՍ նախարարությունը՝ դպրոցներում գործածվող վերոգրյալ դասագիրքը դուրս բերի գործածությունից և ձեռնամուխ լինի  նոր դասագրքի ստեղծմանը՝ այդ գործընթացում ներգրավելով պատմաբանների, եկեղեցականների և գիտակրթական հաստատությունների ու մասնագիտական հանրույթի պատասխանատու ներկայացուցիչների։

Կարևոր նկատվեց, որ կրթական ոլորտի՝ մասնավորաբար հայագիտության խնդիրների վերաբերյալ պարբերաբար կազմակերպվեն նմանօրինակ քննարկումներ՝ ներդրում բերելու համար հիշյալ բնագավառի հիմնախնդիրների կարգավորմանը և որակյալ կրթության ապահովմանը։

Քննարկումն ավարտվեց  Ն․Ս․Օ․Տ․Տ․ Գարեգին Երկրորդ Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսի՝ մասնակիցներին ուղղված գնահատանքի և օրհնության խոսքով։
