Դավիթ Բալայանը չի ընտրվել Սահմանադրական դատարանի դատավորի պաշտոնում։ ԱԺ նիստում քվեարկության արդյունքները ներկայացրեց Հաշվիչ հանձնախմբի նախագահ Նարեկ Բաբայանը: Ազգային ժողովի 107 պատգամավորներից քվեարկությանը մասնակցել է 32-ը։

Մասնակցած բոլոր պատգամավորները կողմ են քվեարկել, սակայն ձայների քանակը բավարար չէր ընտրվելու համար։

Հայաստանի Հանրապետության դատավորների ընդհանուր ժողովը Սահմանադրական դատարանի դատավորի թափուր տեղում ընտրելու համար առաջարկել էչ Դավիթ Բալայանի թեկնածությունը։
