Բացարձակ անընդունելի, հայկական ինքնության, Հայաստանի պետականության դեմ բացահայտ ուղղված քայլ է իշխանությունն [Կառավարությունն] առաջ տանում` Հայոց ցեղասպանության 1,5 միլիոն զոհերի անուն-ազգանունների ցուցակ կազմելը համարելով «Ցեղասպանության հետ կապված իրական հիմքերի կառուցում»։
 
Այս մասին Ֆեյսբուքի իր էջում գրել է ՀՀ նախկին ՄԻՊ Արման Թաթոյանը՝ անդրադառնալով ԱԺ ՔՊ–ական պատգամավոր Անդրանիկ Քոչարյանի հայտարարություններին։
 
«Թուրքական իշխանությունն է մշտապես առաջ տարել Հայոց ցեղասպանության զոհերի թիվը կասկածի տակ դնելու գաղափարը` դրանով առաջ տանելով իր ժխտողական քաղաքականությունը։
 
Ցեղասպանագետ գիտնականները, ինչպես նաեւ Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը ճանաչած պետությունները երբևէ կասկածի տակ չեն դրել 1,5 մլն զոհերի թիվը: Դա երբեք քննարկման առարկա էլ չի եղել: Ավելին, զոհերի թիվը բոլորովին կապ չունի ցեղասպանություն հանցագործության հետ։ Ցեղասպանությունը մարդկանց խմբի ոչնչացմանն ուղղված մտադրված հանցանք է, որ հիմքում ունի ռասայական, էթնիկ, ազգային կամ կրոնական պատկանելիության հիմքով ատելությունը, այլ ոչ թե ուղղակի որոշակի թվով մարդկանց սպանությունը կամ նրանց վերացումը։
 
Այս մոտեցումը նաև բացահայտ անարգանք է անմեղ զոհերի հիշատակի նկատմամբ:
 
Անթույլատրելի է հայտարարությունը, թե «Մեծ Եղեռն» և «Ցեղասպանություն» հասկացությունները նույնական են։ Այս հասկացությունների միջև հավասարության նշան դնելն անթույլատրելի է ինչպես Հայաստանի շահերի, այնպես էլ ցեղասպանությունների միջազգային կանխարգելման գործընթացի տեսանկյունից։
 
Ցեղասպանությունը միջազգային իրավական ամրագրում ունեցող հասկացություն է, միջազգայնորեն ճանաչված հանցագործություն է։
 
Դրա համար սահմանված է կոնկրետ քրեական պատիժ, քրեական հետապնդման մեխանիզմ։
 
Ավելին, հենց ցեղասպանության հանցագործության համար պատասխանատվության ու պատժի իրագործումն է, որ կոչված է կանխարգելելու ցեղասպանությունները։
 
«Եղեռն»-ը միայն հայոց լեզվի, հայկական նշանակության բառ է, որն ունի առավելապես պատմական և ոչ միջազգային իրավական նշանակություն, չի առաջացնում հանցանք ու հետևաբար՝ չունի իրավական նշանակություն»,– գրել է Թաթոյանը։
