ՄԻՊ-ն ու Կանադայի դեսպանն անդրադարձել են Երևանում տեղի ունեցած հավաքներին

Մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպան Անահիտ Մանասյանը հունիսի 14-ին ընդունել է Հայաստանում Կանադայի դեսպան Էնդրյու Թըրներին։ Հայտնում են ՄԻՊ-ի աշխատակազմից:

Հանդիպմանը մասնակցել են նաև Արկտիկայի հարցերով ղեկավար, Եվրասիայի և Եվրոպայի հարցերով բարձր ներկայացուցիչ Ռոբերտ Սինքլերը և դեսպանի խորհրդական Աարոն Քոն:

«Ողջունելով հյուրերին՝ Անահիտ Մանասյանը ներկայացրել է մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանի լիազորությունների շրջանակը՝ որպես սահմանադրական մարմին, աշխատանքային առաջնահերթությունները, գործունեության ուղղությունները։

Անդրադարձ է կատարվել Երևանում տեղի ունեցած հավաքներին, այդ ընթացքում արձանագրված մարդու իրավունքների խախտումներին։ Այս համատեքստում Պաշտպանը նշել է, որ հունիսի 12-ին աշխատակազմի հետ այցեր է իրականացրել Ոստիկանության բաժիններ և բժշկական հաստատություններ, հանդիպել բուժօգնություն ստացող հավաքի մասնակիցներին և Ոստիկանության ծառայողների, արձանագրել խնդիրները։ Դրանք, այդ թվում` Ոստիկանության կողմից հատուկ միջոցների կիրառման հարցը, քննարկման ընթացակարգի շրջանակներում այս պահին ուսումնասիրվում են Պաշտպանի աշխատակազմում։ Ուսումնասիրության արդյունքներով Պաշտպանը կներկայացնի իր դիրքորոշումը հատուկ միջոցների կիրառման իրավաչափության վերաբերյալ։

Պաշտպանն ընդգծել է նաև ոստիկանության բարեփոխումների կարևորությունը մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանության պատշաճ համակարգի արմատավորման տեսանկյունից։ Քննարկվել են նաև հավաքների ազատության իրավունքին, խոսքի ազատության իրավունքին առնչվող հարցեր։

Զրուցակիցները քննարկել են ներկայումս մեր երկրում իրավահավասարության երաշխավորման և հակախտրականության ոլորտում առկա մարտահրավերներին առնչվող հարցեր։ Այս համատեքստում Պաշտպանն ընդգծել է ատելության խոսքի, խտրականության, անհանդուրժողականության մթնոլորտի անթույլատրելի ծավալներն այսօր Հայաստանի Հանրապետությունում և դրա դեմ պայքարի շրջանակներում իրականացվող աշխատանքների կարևորությունը:

Զրուցակիցներն անդրադարձել են Լեռնային Ղարաբաղից բռնի տեղահանված անձանց իրավունքների պաշտպանությանը, անձամբ Մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանի և աշխատակազմի կողմից իրականացված փաստահավաք աշխատանքներին։

Փաստագրված տեղեկություններն ամփոփվել են Մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանի արտահերթ զեկույցում, որն իսկությունն ապացուցող խորհրդապահական հատվածով Պաշտպանի կողմից ներկայացվել է մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանության մանդատ ունեցող միջազգային կազմակերպություններին և դերակատարներին։

Դեսպանը շնորհակալություն է հայտնել Պաշտպանին ընդունելության և արդյունավետ քննարկման համար»,- ասված է հաղորդագրության մեջ։
