Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն այսօր փոքրիկ շրջայց էր կատարել Երևանի կենտրոնական փողոցներով: Բազմաթիվ էին այն քաղաքացիները, որոնք Փաշինյանին մոտեցան՝ բարձրաձայնելու իրենց խնդիրների մասին, որոնք կա՛մ չեն լուծվել անցած երկու տարիների ընթացքում, կա՛մ առաջացել են այս իշխանությունների գործողությունների արդյունքում: Փաշինյանը շրջում էր Երևանի փողոցներով նաև հեղափոխությունից անմիջապես հետո, և այն ժամանակ էլ բազմաթիվ քաղաքացիներ մոտենում  էին վարչապետին, սակայն ոչ թե բողոքելու և առօրյա խնդիրների մասին բողոքելո , այլ՝ սելֆի անելու, ողջագուրվելու նպատակով: Ակնհայտ էր, որ մարդիկ մեծ հույսեր են կապում Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի հետ, սակայն դա դեռ սկիզբն էր: Երկու տարվա մեջ պատկերը զգալիորեն փոխվել է և դրա վառ վկայությունն էլ այն քաղաքացիներն են, ովքեր այսօր մոտենում են Փաշինյանին և բողոքում, որ, օրինակ, իրենց չորս երեխաները սոված են, որ իրենք չունեն աշխատանք, որ իրենք տուժել են այս կամ այն պետական գերատեսչությունից: Սա ամենավառ ցուցանիշն է առ այն, որ մարդկանց հույսերը, մեղմ ասած, չեն արդարացել...

Դիցուք՝ ինչպիսի պատկեր էր հեղափոխությունից անմիջապես հետո՝ հաջորդող մի քանի ամիսների ընթացքում: Սելֆիներ, ուրախություն, խորոված և «վարչապետ ջան, ցավդ տանեմ» համատարած էյֆորիան:

Այսպես քաղաքացիները Փաշինյանի հետ խորոված էին անում

 Իսկ ընդամենը ամիսներ առաջ Կապան քաղաքի բնակիչները, մեղմ ասած, չէին լարվում Փաշինյանին տեսնելու ցանկությունից՝ կազմակերպելով բողոքի ակցիա վերջինիս այցի կապակցությամբ:

Երբ Փաշինյանը Երևանով շրջում էր Դոնալդ Տուսկի հետ, քաղաքացիները ոչ թե մոտենում և սելֆիներ էին անում, այլ գոռում էին վարչապետի դեմքին, որ մարտի 1-ի կազմակերպիչն ինքն է:

Եղավ նույնիսկ տհաճ միջադեպ, երբ վարչապետի մեկնած բուկլետը քաղաքացին պատռեց և նետեց Փաշինյանի վրա:

Այսօր ԿԲ-ի դիմաց բողոքող քաղաքացիները նույնպես չէին շտապում ողջագուրվել Փաշինյանի հետ, նրանք հստակ խնդիր մատնանշեցին և ուղերձ հղեցին՝ եթե Փաշինյանը չլսի իրենց, վաղն այդտեղ հազարավոր մարդիկ են հավաքվելու:
